Michael Crichton, the man who wrote the novels Jurassic Park, Twister, Congo and created ER, passed away. He had been privately battling cancer and died at the young age of 66. His family released this statement: “Through his books, Michael Crichton served as an inspiration to students of all ages, challenged scientists in many fields, and illuminated the mysteries of the world in a way we could all understand.”
