Minka Kelly got sexually harassed on the set of Charlie’s Angels while filming in Miami. I guess a staffer slapped Minka on the butt while holding a $100 bill. I know it’s terrible, but it’s kind of funny that someone did that to her. I’m not condoning sexual harassment at all–but I’m laughing at the fact that someone had the balls to do that to one of the stars of the show!

Apparently she was fuming about it on set and it was a big to-do…Gee, I can’t imagine why? The “ass-slapper” told Star Magazine that it was “just a misunderstanding.” I want to know what part of it was the misunderstanding…the fact that he didn’t understand why she didn’t take the $100 or that she didn’t like the attention. What a dummy!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Crazy, I was involved in a “misunderstanding” like this at work the other day. My female boss was standing behind me at the copier, and she said “NWMTV, you got better curves back there than Mulholland Drive. Why don’t you stop by my office after you’re done here and we’ll play one of my favorite games: “naughty copy boy”.

    I filed a complaint, but I don’t think anyone took it seriously. I feel so powerless. Maybe I shouldn’t have dressed the way I did?

    While I don’t at all condone sexual harrassment at work, I do have to say that I had an evil smile seeing this. It’s kind of her welcome ticket to the real world of the workplace. I’ve been sexually harrassed at every job I’ve ever had, no matter where the job was. And the harrassment was worse than a simple slap and no one offered me a $100 bill, either. But, I’m broke so I’d probably let a dude slap my butt for $100. It’s just a butt, woman. Take the cash!

    Wow…I find the comments on this story kind of disturbing. A woman’s (let’s say “person’s” to be fair) job or the way they dress in no way gives permission to someone permission to touch them sexually. I’m shocked that people still accept that in this day and age.

    @Shawn

    According to your logic every chick in the bar who has a thing for nerds with pocket protectors should be able to walk up and pinch your ass because of the way you are dressed.

    @ Shawn: Dressing with your nipples (or anything else showing)–you can and will be ogled, yes. Touched, no. There are laws. She could have walked in the room naked and still he has no right to touch her sexually without her permission, EVER.

    Well, some people are just willing to be treated badly and other people aren’t. To each his/her own.

    Shawn’s just upset he isn’t getting any and feels the need to take his frustration out on women. Newsflash kiddo, just because you’re hard up doesn’t mean everyone else is desperate enough to let themselves be groped without permission. Now head back down to your parent’s basement when you can watch your porn in private.

    @Lizbot I guess you have to look at the bright side. It got in the news. The reporter here says it’s terrible and the harrasser is a dummy.

    All over the internet lots of people are saying they think it would be wrong to do that to her if she’d had on a different dress. I saw one site where they were arguing about details of what kind of dress she’d have to wear before it became wrong.

    A long time ago it wouldn’t even be a news story and if the girl said anything they’d fire her and not even say it was for an unrelated reason.

    It’s just another one of those things where there might be modern laws but changing the way people think takes a real long time, specially when it’s things like double standards and discrimination. Just watch Teen Mom.

    There’s even a saying about it. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose. It means the more things change, the more they stay the same.
