Carrie Prejean has fired back and has gone to TMZ to tell her side of the story. She claims the pageant asked her to do a semi-nude lay-out for Playboy and to appear on I’m A Celebrity…

I will say this right now, I don’t agree with Carrie Prejean, I can’t stand her, but I don’t blame her if she turned down I’m A Celebrity…and Playboy. Think if she did Playboy, that would cause so much more controversy that’s already surrounding her…she was right to turn it down.

I’m sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Right, head straight for the loathsome gutter press – TMZ – to tell your story.

    Classy!

I think some facts got majorly screwed up here. While I have heard that she turned down offers from “I’m a Celebrity” and Playboy, there is no way it was the pageant that asked her to do those things. In fact, she almost got fired the first time for semi-nude pics, so why would the pageant then be asking her to pose for Playboy.

While I don’t agree with her politics, I have to say damn this girl is hot.

While I disagree with her views on gay marriage – she is still entitled to them, and that question was completely inappropriate at the pageant. Shouldn’t have asked the question if you didn’t want the answer, dumb*ss! Everyone is horrified that she voiced her opinion (after being asked), but apparently Perez Hilton can call a woman a b*tch and c*nt, and that’s fine. Yeah, we’ve come a long way, baby, I guess! I hope she sues their *sses off, and laughs all the way to the bank.
Sorry, felt the need to rant.

I agree about the gay marriage question. It’s totally a loaded question. If she would have said she supported gay marriage you would have gotten all these crazy right-wing conservatives bashing her for encouraging kids to be gay or some ridiculous shit like that. it’s a bit like asking about abortion beliefs. just too controversial for a pagent.
