MTV is doing a special on Amber Portwood in jail and they’re calling it: Amber Behind Bars. The special that’s airing on October 9th at 10PM ET/PT will feature an interview with Amber and Dr. Drew talking about life behind bars. I have one question–WHY OH WHY does MTV keep exploiting these Teen Moms? If they’re trying to make this a scared straight special I get it, but MTV gives Amber too much attention as is. And is it necessary to bring Drew into this? Is it because she’ll be talking about her addiction? I’m so over it.

Here’s what needs to happen–the cameras need to turn off, and they need to stop giving her attention…she’ll never heal at this rate.

Side note: Where is Amber’s jail getting their shirts? The Gap?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

If she died, MTV would have a funeral special.
They just don’t know when to leave well enough alone.

Homegirl is lookin ROUGH. Better without the dingy, lop-sided false lashes, tho. I def WON’T be tuning in. I already have to listen to a deadbeat mom (my fiance’s babymomma) over-emphasize how important her kid is to her and how much she misses/loves her in order to convince herself that it’s true and she’s not actually a piece of shit. Therefore, I can’t tolerate watching Amber do that shit for one minute. She’s not even convincing AT ALL. Tell me how you can/will move mountains for your child, then make zero changes in your fucked up life. Amber needs to grow up, get herself healthy, and let someone who isn’t so desperate for attention raise her daughter.
