Did you guys watch the MTV Movie Awards last night? In case you didn’t, you didn’t miss much. The highlight of the night was Johnny Depp playing with Black Keys! Everything else was business as usual. Oh and do I even need to say that Hunger Games cleaned house? Well, it did–it got 4 awards…that’s a lot when there are only 15 awards including a Generation Award, and a Trailblazer Award.

The highlight of the night for me:

Here’s the full list:

— Movie of the Year: “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.”

— Best Male Performance: Josh Hutcherson, “The Hunger Games.”

— Best Female Performance: Jennifer Lawrence, “The Hunger Games.”

— Breakthrough Performance: Shailene Woodley, “The Descendants.”

— Best Comedic Performance: Melissa McCarthy, “Bridesmaids.”

— Best Cast: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2.”

— Best Hero: Harry Potter, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2.”

— Best Music: LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” ‘’21 Jump Street.”

— Best Kiss: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.”

— Best Fight: Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson vs. Alexander Ludwig, “The Hunger Games.”

— Best On-Screen Dirtbag: Jennifer Aniston, “Horrible Bosses.”

— Best On-Screen Transformation: Elizabeth Banks, “The Hunger Games.”

— Best Gut-Wrenching Performance: Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper, “Bridesmaids.”

— MTV Generation Award: Johnny Depp.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Mister – that is “Alcide” from True Blood. Makes you want to hang out with werewolves if they look like that half the time.

@Mister you would probable be really awake then if you saw that Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum were also on stage. Elizabeth Banks rubbed and grind on all three of them, while her poor husband sat in the audience and watched.

I want to know what fell out of Steven Tyler’s mouth when he handed Johnny Depp’s award. Johnny Depp seemed fascinated with whatever it was.

I have not watched the whole thing yet (doubt I will since it is so much easier to watch the best of clips) but as lame as this show is, it is kind of awesome because it doesn’t take itself to seriously. It is a really elaborate thank you to the fans and a great vehicle to promote upcoming flicks. Yes, I will be seeing Magic Mike in the theaters, not because of Alcide dressed as a fire fighter, but because I will now be able to show that clip/photo to friends to get them to come with me. What can I say, I am a sucker for Channing Tatum’s dancing.

I have seen the clip of Emma Stone’s speech. It was perfect. It fit her age and the situation and gave a very positive message without seeming like a PSA.

Agreed that Johnny Depp and Emma Stone were the highlights.
Did anyone catch what the audience member screamed to Mila Kuniz?
Johnny Depp said that was his tooth that fell out onto the floor,
I think he was trying to retrieve it but Steven said no just leave it there.
He responded “Uh… o..k… I guess we’ll just get another one later.”

Jeniffer Lawrence with “best female performance” is no surprise. Her performance was stunning!
