Every time I watch a finale of reality competition show I think… what if they announced the wrong winner?  Talk about sucking. I mean there you are Gordon Ramsey spraying you with champagne, Ryan Seacrest bouncing up and down with you while balloons fall from above- your entire life is changing in an instant. You are a better version of yourself-all in ten seconds. Until the lifeline to your new and better life is pulled and you’re sucked back into your trailer serving boxed wine to the guy you picked up at the gas station.  Well we no longer have to ponder what that horrible moment would look like thanks to live television and Australia’s Next Top Model. Watch the below clip as the poor host, Sarah Murdoch, has to reveal that the wrong winner has been announced. Ouch.

    The Australian contestants are actually pretty. The US ones are always a little weird looking.

    don’t you two know? Noone must be prettier then Tyra, thus the many ‘ugly/pretty’ girls and trannalikes that get picked for ANTM.

    OMG…I’m in melbourne, Australia at the moment and I’ve watched reruns of the last 2-3 episodes and watched the live finale last night. I was devestated for Kelsey!! She handed it gracefully, but my friend and I were ‘gagging’ with shock of her getting the ‘crown’ snatched back of live tv. How awful.. I hope she gets signed because she’s great and a class act.

    They do the show format differently because the viewers choose the winners and not ‘Tyra.’ But the top 3 girls were amazing and have great careers ahead of them. I was rooting for Amando, though..but now I want Kelsey. (I love an underdog) lol
