Nads on VH1′s Do Something Awards

Working with someone on the internet is weird, cuz there’s not an office to go to where we can complain about our diets or relationships or traffic or kids or whatever. We do it all through email. And we miss some important facts. For example, no one I work with knows that I like eating frozen Milky Ways for breakfast or that I recap shows in the same nasty ass camouflage shorts every time. Do they suspect this? Probably.

Point is, I had NO IDEA Nads was working on the Do Something Awards over at VH1. What the hell lady? Last thing she told me was that she had car trouble. Well, she is, in fact, working on the Do Something Awards. What are these awards for? No idea. I’m generally not a fan of doing things, so the name never caught my eye before today. I looked it up, though, and it’s pretty cool. They are awards for people that, well, DO SOMETHING. Like, good things. American Idol is nominated for all those cheap ass crayons they send to Africa during Idol Gives Back. The awards are just tiny little ceramic Bono heads.

Nads will be interviewing the celebs and writing intros and stuff, so def check it out on July 19th on VH1 and check out the voting categories in the meantime here! Break a leg, sista!

    Ha, thanks Flipit for the shout-out. I’m not doing interviews, but I am introing some of the celebs, and poking a little fun (not too much b/c they’re do-gooder awards). But it’s all ala Best Week Ever style. I’m wearing a bright yellow shirt, you can’t miss me. ;-) I’m back from NY now Gasmii, but Flipit has my balls today, so Newsgasm is his!
