Last night on Watch What Happens Live we found out that NeNe Leakes is joining the cast of Glee for a few episodes. She’s going to play a synchronized swim coach who will rival Sue Sylvester.

She tweeted:

“The secret is out! YES I hav a recurring role on GLEE! I’m coach Roz Washington the synchronized swim coach! So honored.”

“Running through the house screaming Gleeeeee! Coach Roz Washington is gonna get that Sue Sylvester! I’m so proud of myself”

“Studying lines now! My memory is just gone LOL! Gotta head right back 2 the Glee set after the holidays.”

Wow, Glee really must be desperate for ratings if they’re stunt casting reality stars…whatever it takes…

Either way, I’m on Team NeNe.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    I have to say that is the best picture I have ever seen of NeNe, what ever she did she should keep doing.

    This picture is SO airbrushed…the sides of her body are totally taken in. Even her arms are taken in and the elbow on the right is all messed up. Terrible, obvious job! I usually dont post, but I’m hating Nene this season…she’s so full of herself.

    This story is brought to us by the letters “W”, “T”, and “F”. If this is Glee’s idea of stunt casting, it really should call it quits. You know, if a show could do that sort of thing.

    Reason #99 NOT to watch Glee: Nene Leakes. Use to love her, can’t stand her now. And Glee? Ugh. Seriously, I don’t get the appeal of Glee (though I do like Jane Lynch). It’s so cheesy and poorly acted.

    OMG— what the F????? Are they that hard up to find people to appear on the show???? What about all the kids from the Glee reality show— ya know kids with some sort of talent?? That aren’t abrasive fame-whores with delusion and feelings of entitlement???

    This doesn’t mean there’s even a remote chance of seeing Nene’s “Used To Be A “C” But Now Way Below C Level” mammaries in a BATHING SUIT, does it??? **pulling out eyeballs as a precaution**

    It’s bad enough that this season she’s running around claiming to be rich from Celebrity Apprentice, but now with season I expect her to be even more unbearable next season.

    I say good for nene. I look forward to the nene/sue battles. Can’t make the show any worse. Might even liven things up.I’m with wilma on removing eyeballs during nene in bathing suit scenes.

    I think Nene has grossly underestimated scripted TV. After fifty takes of rolling her neck, her head is liable to fall off.
