NeNe Leakes vs Star Jones

NeNe

You gotta love NeNe because she’ll call it how it is…

She went on a Star Jones tirade on Ellen, and let it all out. She said, “She is bossy, she is manipulative, conniving, and I’m not even being funny. I think that is real. I honestly think that is who she is…I think she had preconceived notions of who she thought I was just from watching me on the Housewives. I think she thought I was going to come in and take over. I tried to get to know her. Some people are difficult to get to know. She’s not the easiest person to get to know. She is a disaster…Star is manipulative.”

It’s sad, and hilarious at the same time how much people hate Star! She’s always seemed like an absolute nightmare, but watching her on Celebrity Apprentice just confirms how I feel. I wonder who’ll be next to go this coming week. I’m so loving this season!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Star must be pretty bad for Nene to call her bossy and manipulative. That’s like having Charlie Sheen say someone is taking too many drugs!

I like Nene, but then I’ve only ever watched her on WWHL and now The Apprentice. I wonder if Star is going to litigate like she did with Lisa Big Lips.

I was just telling someone that NeNe is great on WWHL. But I really don’t like her on RHOA. Not as much as I dislike Sheree, but I don’t like her.

I liked Nene on RHoA, but I think that was mostly because I HATED Kim. It was a Team Kim vs Team Nene thing and I chose Nene. And because she cracks me up. But she definitely has some issues, to be sure. I pretty surprised at how she has behaved herself so far, but I think she is trying to fly under the radar as she knows she doesn’t have some of the contacts/money/fame that the other contestants have.

Oh and the way that photo is cropped, it looks like she is wearing pasties on her nipples. :D

I have this recurring nightmare where I’m on an African big game hunt with Col. McBragg (the old British guy with the white mustache from Rocky and Bulwinkle–the one who would point to a random point on the globe and say “There! North Africa… we were surrounded!”) Anyway, Col. McBragg, me, and our native porters are trudging across the arid plains when suddenly we are charged by a female rhinoceros. And the rhino has NeNe’s face. And it’s screaming “you done me wrooooooong!” And I’m screaming, and McBragg is screaming “Shoot her, man! For God’s sake, shoot her!” And I can’t, because my elephant gun is jammed. And all I can do is watch several tons of angry, bellowing NeNe bear down on me.

It’s awful. I wouldn’t wish that dream on anyone. Not even on Seacrest.

@Snootchy Bootches – LOLLLLL. I didn’t even notice my crop. ha.

And @classy drunk, and @thiajok–so true about NeNe on WWHL. I’m sure it’s because she won’t give it up on camera for the show, so she’s edited kind of boring. I agree with you guys, she’s fantastic on WWHL. BUT the other factor could be that she’s stuck with a crappy producer in the field, and not produced well.

What is the difference. She is the same way just without the education. Looks to me on the Trump show she is just staying under the radar to get as far as she can. What has she done, but Star sucks to.It is a shame when to fame whores can’t get along.

I just wish someone would have told Star that she may have lost a bunch of weight from her surgery, but that does not make her IN SHAPE. I cannot believe she wears those leggings with shirts that stop at her waist and just displays all her lumpy buttness for the world to see. I would DIE. bleh

lol @snootchy bootches. I thought the exact same thing about NeNe’s nips, but then I realized that they’re probably really about 4 inches lower.

I was actually on Star’s side (over NeNe) before the season started, I guess I forgot how much I hated her. I just thought ‘well, Star is more legitimate than Nene so Nene should sort of step back’… I’ve changed my mind. I hope Nene tears her up. I can’t stand Star so much. She’s a manipulative bully!!!!! Ugh. She makes my blood boil.

What a difference a few weeks can make! At the end of RHOA, Nene was vilified by the media for going apeshit, threatening to choke a bitch, and for overall pettiness. When she started doing promo for CA, her fight with Kim was fresh in everyone’s mind and as they flashed clips of Nene in Star’s face much like she was in Dwight’s or Kim’s, her past aggressiveness made her seem like the automatic guilty party in the Star vs Nene fight.

Now that Celebrity Apprentice is underway, Nene has kept a low profile, like some have said..she is a little intimidated by the accomplishments of her competitors, so she’s trying to coast and stay off the radar until she susses out those that she feels she can overtake.

Meanwhile, Star is coming on strong. I think she was fine in the pizza challenge and worked well with everyone except for Lisa. But it was the second challenge that we saw her cunning manipulation at play, and it rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. So, now she’s vilified and Nene’s past trangressions have been forgotten/overshadowed by Star’s current assholishness.

That puts Nene slightly ahead..all she can hope for is that Star comes out looking like the bigger asshole in their fight and she’s golden. But first, Nene needs to stop talking to the media about it. Because if Nene looks like the aggressor and we have all these soundbytes of her berating Star..Nene’s goose is cooked. (professioanlly speaking)

@Sillysherpa: WWHL is “Watch What Happens Live.” It’s an interview/who knows what kind of show that Andy Cohen hosts after one of the Bravo shows airs, typically one of the “Real Housewives” shows.

I learned about it from TVGasm, too. Had never noticed it prior to posting here.

It’s concentrated, televised evil, that’s what it is.

If Cthulhu has his own Bravo show, it would be WWHL.
