Only years later, the infamous 2004 Nipplegate with Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction has been put to rest. The Supreme Court refused the appeal from the FCC, and CBS will not have to pay the $550,000 fine for showing boob. But that doesn’t protect other wardrobe malfunctions from here on out…if you show boob, you won’t be protected and will have to cough up the dough. Chief Justice John Roberts said, ”It is now clear that the brevity of an indecent broadcast — be it word or image — cannot immunize it from FCC censure. Any future ‘wardrobe malfunctions’ will not be protected on the ground relied on by the court below.”

Basically he’s saying that Janet has the chosen nipple.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Oh yes. This is what will take America down. The sight of a 40-something-year-old breast.

In my town, the TV news had a local story about a Boy Scout troop, which regularly met at the Baptist Church where the scoutmaster was a deacon, which had gathered it the rec room of the church to watch Super Bowl 2004. So yes, itchy, go ahead and mock the irreparable damage done to the innocence of those precious youths. Boobs, Baptists, and Boy Scouts DO NOT MIX!!!!!

@crankyguy — “Boobs, Baptists and Boy Scouts” is a masterpiece of alliteration. Well done, sir.

In all fairness, the boob was only in its 30s at the time.

If a boob is worth a half a mil, how much more for the nipple? Janet rocked a piercing that covered her nipple, so in all fairness, she was dressed like Lil Kim at The Grammys. Lil Kim didn’t get a fine…she got groped by Diana Ross.

“In all fairness, the boob was only in its 30s at the time.” – Hilarious!!

@MummyButterfly, the next time you’re at a Boy Scout meeting in some Baptist church, whip out a boob and then come back here to tell us how it went.
