sex and the city

The rumored Sex and the City prequel isn’t happening. Word was that they were going to do a prequel based on Candace Bushnell’s novels The Carrie Diaries and Summer and the City…but that doesn’t seem to be the case, at least not with Michael Patrick King. Michael said, “My Carrie Bradshaw started at 33 and I took her to 40…For me the idea of going backward and making her less evolved…is something I don’t even imagine doing.”

To that I say, AMEN! I was the biggest Sex and the City fan back in the day, but I don’t think I can stomach another Sex and the City movie after seeing 2. The best part about the sequel was Liza, and that’s it! To do a prequel would be injustice and would completely ruin the brand. I could totally seeing them butchering too by making it 3-D. Thank you, Michael Patrick King! You’ve put a smile on my face!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Oh, thank God! I wish they hadn’t made the first movie either.

Considering what an insufferable fuckwit Horseface Parker played Carrie Bradshaw as (which, I think, was her just playing herself, a la Julia Roberts), would anybody really want to see her at Lindsay Lohan’s age, with the resulting brains and maturity? Go to the mall, or hang out with your own teenage daughter for 15 minutes and save yourself $12.50. When the “young adult” thing ceases to be amusing, you can leave the mall. Or beat your kid.

Make up and special effects can only go so far – You can’t make these old hags look 30 (or younger) again. If I was a single guy in NYC and had to navigate the likes of these chicks, I’d end up on Fire Island.

NWMT, you simply HAVE to learn to form an opinion.
