Harvard Hopeful Gets Booted

According to an article posted by Cityfile.com, Camille Huges, one of the teens who appeared on NYC Prep, will not be attending the prestigious Nightingale-Bamford School for her senior year. Camille is the ambitious teen who wants to attend Harvard and become the head of a genetics firm. Her prep school NB is well-known among the Harvard crowd and has produced many students who attended Harvard. According to their web site, Harvard is one of the top 6 schools for NB graduates over the past 5 years.

When Camille appeared on the show, a letter was sent to all the parents of NB students indicating that the school did not support any student who chooses to participate in this type of TV show. In this case Camille and her parents made the decision to participate apparently without the approval of the school.

A few weeks ago, the school notified Camille that she would not be welcome at the school this year. I guess that’s the way snooty people say that you’re booted out of school permanently.

But don’t worry, our little Harvard Hopeful is attending The Professional Children’s School. This school is normally attended by children who act or model or who have a career in the arts. However it is also a haven for students who need to finish their senior year in a different school because they lose their spot in real school.

The Prof. Children’s School also lists strong academics as one of the benefits of attendance. I noticed that among the schools accepting PC grads, Harvard was listed. It was not among the top 5 for PC grads, but it was listed. So who knows, maybe Camille can still make her Harvard dream come true.

Poor Camille, first she gets her Harvard tour by that psycho Scarlett who said “you probably won’t get in” and now this. Was it really worth your future to appear on a show with PC and scary Jessie and the rest of the NY prepsters?

Although the PCS does have a great reputation, I doubt this will look as good on her Harvard application as NB. I wonder if Camille has decided not to rule the world and instead wants to focus her attention on something a little less ambitious. Maybe Camille and Kelli will start an all girl band like The Go-Go’s. Let’s see, they could be the “Preppy Bitches” and sing songs about prep school sluts and the boys who love them.
