One of our beloved Atlanta Housewives, NeNe Leakes, has joined the cast of Celebrity Apprentice. I’m so excited about this news! We’re going to get the chance to see NeNe interact with the outside world that’s not Housewives!!! Insane!

She’ll join: Gary Busey, Meat Loaf,  La Toya Jackson, Mark McGrath, David Cassidy, Richard Hatch, Marlee Matlin, Dionne Warwick, Jose Canseco, Star Jones,  Lisa Rinna, Niki Taylor, Lil Jon, John Rich and Hope Dworaczyk.

Donald Trump has a solid cast this season. It’s sad that Marlee Matlin is now on the recycled reality route, but I guess she’s not really working–so work is work. And Gary Busey?? Ha! He’s going to take us for a ride on his crazy train. I’d love to see a roid rage blow-up between Jose and Gary–and have NeNe mediate.

It’s going to be a good season. I’m actually excited about this one!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    It did not take Star Jones long, did it?

    I like NeNe, but I’ve only ever seen her on Cohen’s show.

    Ok, who wants to bet Star Jones and NeNe will be up in each other’s faces before the 4th episode. And yes, I will be thisclose to the TV to watch…

    NeNe I’d like to see be successful on her own merits. You go Gurllll. Suck it Kim! Star Jones? Um and isn’t she a lawyer and some shit? Does she really have to do reality TV?

    LaToya Jackson, Jose Canseco AND Gary Busey. HolyBatshitcrazy. Nene and Star will have to take their bs to a WHOLE ‘NOTHER LEVEL to top that craycray. The drama could be Springerian. Can’t wait. I am so ready for this famewreck.

    Uhm yes, at this point Star really does have to do reality tv, where else can a tired egotistical tranny famewhore ply her “trade”? The Apprentice, the ho better deliver real good. If she doesn’t, it ain’t like she’ll have the youth oriented tricks at VH1 to fall back on.

    Richard Hatch won’t make it long at all; I’d say he’ll be one of the first 5 fired, even though he’ll probably be the most entertaining.

    Nene is gonna go hard at Latoya and Gary Busey, I’d imagine. She won’t mess with Star Jones because she recognizes a formidable opponent whe she sees it. No, Nene will pick on the loopy underdogs and crush them like a rock between her massive mammaries. With that said, I can’t wait to watch!

    I like that all of the celebrities are relatively on the same level fame-wise. I think it is very unfair when one side has a super famous person and the other side doesn’t.

    Nene and Star Jones actually go at it. I’m not sure how accurate it is but I read they get into a fist fight.

    What?? A fist fight?! OMG…I so hope this is true and that is was taped from several angles. It’s a celebrity deathmatch I’d pay to see!

    I was thinking about the time Star hosted a Bad Girls Club reunion and walked out when the ladies got into a shouting match and needed to be restrained. She was so over it and said she didn’t want to be around that kind of behavior. (hence, Perez stepping in as her shit stirring replacement). I guess she isn’t really above a good ole catfight after all..
