patti stanger

Patti Stanger just keeps inserting her foot in her mouth. She was on Joy Behar promoting her show, and of course defending her recent comments she made on Watch What Happens Live. And as she was defending her comments about gay men with Joy, she pushed further and said, “But the gay man, they whip it out at eye lock! They get involved, and then find out later whether or not they want a serious relationship. And I hope they use the privilege in New York for gay marriage because they have it. A lot of gays aren’t getting married!”

She’s screwed! Doesn’t she get that she’s under a microscope now and that she should keep her fat mouth shut? She just keeps digging herself in a hole…it’s kind of funny. She needs to stop generalizing, that’s where she gets herself in trouble.

Here she is on Joy Behar:

I’m sure Next up will be the Patti Stanger apology tour.

They should just stick Patti Stanger, Tracy Morgan, Mel Gibson, and every other dumb celeb in a racist/homophobic tank, similar to a drunk tank in a jail. Now there’s a reality show…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Hahaha. I saw Patti on Days of Our Lives the other day. She has no real credit.

With whom does the apology line start? Tracy Morgan is nobody to me, but somebody decided he needed to apologize. Did Michael Richards ever apologize? Did Crazy Mel? (I don’t remember.) Would anybody expect Stanger to apologize, or would they be unsurprised to hear her say something stupid and not give it enough merit to let it ruffle their tail feathers? I don’t think anybody expects apologies from the Jersey Shore retards. Maybe D Listers and above? (Reality Whores being, what, E Listers, maybe?)

Meh. Patti and Bobblehead know exactly what they’re doing – controversy = better ratings.

This is Patti’s spin. SHe needs to justify why she can never make successful matches with gay men on her show. It can’t be that she places the wrong people together. (You’re gay and so is he. So kiss!) It can’t be that she dispenses archaic dating advice. (If your gay boyfriend is a Top and doesn’t open the door for you, it’s a dealbreaker.) No, the reason she is so unsuccessful with her gay matchmaking is because gay men don’t want to marry! Monogamy? Pfft. Must be a brand name for poppers.

Is that the strategy she uses just for gay men? The strategy for all her other matches seems to be “you’re a male dickweed and I have a single female, so if you can’t get it on with her–but not on the first three dates!–then the problem is yours.”

I agree with lindaw. The first gay-bash was probably just her stank personality showing through. The subsequent offensive mouth noises were probably calculated to keep her name in the media.

And Patti’s about matchmaking like American Idol is about music, anyway. It doesn’t really matter if any of her matches produce little reality show freaklings, does it?

Who cares? Honestly, people are entitled to their opinions. Even if they’re stupid ones.

She’d be wise not to piss off Queen Andy if she wants to keep her show on the air. Hopefully nobody’s listening to this bitch.

Other than people being outraged by the force of political correctness, I don’t get why people are so upset by what she said. I don’t think she is off base other than this isn’t a gay issue so much as it’s a male issue. Guys would fuck first and get to know you second on most occasions, but it’s women who put the kabosh on it. When you have two males, there is no female to put to the brakes. It’s no different then saying that lesbian couples fall into relationships right away. Again, it’s the way women are wired. We’d jump into relationships if men didn’t put the kabosh on that.
