Idol reject, Paul McDonald and Twilight star Nikki Reed are engaged! How insane is that? They’ve only been dating a couple of months, but it looks like he’s found “the one.” I think it’s funny that he’s the one that’s getting the most legit press out of his season. In his eyes, he must think he struck gold. She told E! on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet, “He says he’s going to release a Nikki Reed EP.” Promise? I can’t wait to hear a whole EP dedicated to Nikki Reed. I hope they release a presale password for that tour, because God forbid it sells out. Anyway, there you have it…Choppers McDonald is the real winner this past season.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    I had to think for a while and stare at the picture for a bit beforre I could figure out who Paul McDonald is. I still have next to no idea about who Nikki Reed is, but since she was in Twilight maybe she’ll snag Paul some tweener fans…

    Nikki Reed has always struck me as a sort of wild child. Not only did she costar in the movie Thirteen, she helped write it! A story about hypersexualized teens and self mutilation…what has this girl gone through? But I did enjoy her in Mini’s First Time. Secretly seducing her stepdad, Alec Baldwin, made for a classic scene.

    I don’t really see the connection between her and Paul lasting, but hey, he put a ring on it and sometimes a girl can’t help but be flattered by a man’s affection. Although, omething tells me she’s out of his league.
