If Simon Cowell gets his way, he’ll have our dear Paula sitting next to him on judges table on The X Factor. Simon told Deadline, “I’ve always wanted Paula. Always been very vocal about that. I missed her the second she left the show. Always loved working with her even though she can be a pain. And I’ve been consistent about this. I don’t know what it is about her, but I’ve always clicked with her. You just have to get that chemistry, and she’s right. I’ve never found anyone better than her. I think there’s a good chance it will be her. We’ve agreed that we would meet as many people as possible, and now we’re reaching the deadline we’ve got to make the decision soon. But I think she’s got a really good shot.”

He compared casting the judges table for The X Factor like casting a dinner party. He said,  “You’ve got to have people on the panel you get on well with.” He’s right on the money with that one. And in response to that, how will our dear Paula get along with Cheryl Cole if the two of them sit on the same panel? Plus, Mariah as a host or correspondent??? That’s three HUGE female personalities all in one room. I don’t know if TV can handle that much diva estrogen.

So, let’s get this straight…if I’m tracking this correctly that would mean Simon, LA Reid, Cheryl Cole, and Paula Abdul would judge, and Mariah will host, or co-host (or be involved somehow). This show is going to be GIANT.

What are your thoughts on Paula’s possible return?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.
