Simon Cowell Is Rich

Gimme my skrilla suckaz

I just read that Simon Cowell gets paid $36 million a year for Idol, and poor little Paula only gets $2 million. I would have a pain med addiction too if I was making $34 million less than my co-judge. He is the only judge I listen to on the show, but poor little Paula….give the bitch some money!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Uh, NADS, do you think what she does is worth more than $2 million dollars a year?

To me, dressing up and rambling incoherently for a total of, maybe, 20 minutes per week does not equate to $2 million dollars. Though I must say I like Paula and want her to stay on the show and she’s my 3rd favorite judge after Simon and Judge Judy.

If they are paid according to their worth and contributions, by comparison to the other salaries Kara must make around $500,000….and Randy around $50,000.

I think the pay difference is about right. Without Simon, there’s no show.

flipit: I just posted the link, it’s idol alone.

and I agree mr. dangerous, but it seemed like such a gap in salaries..but simon is the only man worth listening to on that show, everything else is filler. paula is actually amusing to me now..don’t know why. and LOL on Judge judy.

It’s possible Paula is too incoherent to know the difference. When she signed her contract her blurry drug eyes probably added a bunch of 0′s that weren’t there.

Though – it is a bit wrong of Idol to take advantage of her “disability” like that.

Don’t be fooled. Simon also hands her an envelope containing $83,000,000,000,000,000,000 in Monopoly money every week as well… under the table, natch!

    love, J-Mo :)

    Simma dahn, now, everyone.

Doesn’t Simon Cowell *co-produce* the show? The others are just talking heads.

So surely his income reflects his cut of the massive profits, right?
