Pete Rose Is Headed To Reality

TLC picked up a reality series featuring Pete Rose (71 years-old) and his thirty-something fiance. The show will follow the 17-time All-Star who was banned from baseball when caught gambling on games while he was a manager for the Cincinnati Reds, and his model fiance in their daily lives as they co-exist. Their story goes like this–he lives in Vegas, she lives in LA. She has young kids, he has adults. Supposedly there are family members that are a little weary of their relationship, which doesn’t surprise me…he is old enough to her grandpa, hell great-grandpa if he was really young when he had his first kid. Anyway, his big arc will be following him trying to get reinstated into baseball so he can get inducted in the Hall of Fame. 

 Pete told Entertainment Weekly, “It’s not going to be classless — like it seems like a lot of reality shows aren’t really reality, but our reality show is going to be funny, entertaining, and real.”

And Kiana, Pete’s finace said, “We are a total modern-day family, mixing the cultures, the ages, the different backgrounds together. I didn’t even know who Pete Rose was when I first met him. It’s kind of a crazy story, but at the core of every family is love and it’s what TLC wants to show.”

It sounds like the reality version of Modern Family, doesn’t it? They’re like our real-life Jay Pritchett and Gloria. I’m curious to see what Pete is like–he calls himself a nice guy, but that dude seems intimidating.

Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    She has 2 of the biggest breasts I’ve ever seen.

    But I’m sure he loves her for her mind.

    Wonder if she has a t-shirt that reads “If these were brains I’d be a fuckin’ Einstein”?

    She’s a model – a model what?

    Him living in Vegas is like Belushi living in Columbia. Go Away Pete Rose you are a washed-up addict who got busted cheating and is still Whah Whahing about it 100 years later.

    He has every right to demand to be in the Hall of Fame. It is a shame he is not.

    Kanye ran through my mind when I saw the article on ew – I ain’t sayin’ she a gold digger, but she ain’t messing with no broke…guy that isn’t afraid to lay 50 large on a long shot.

    She’s just waiting for that big win.

    @ 5 Chicken– rofl– me too— As soon as I finished reading this I satarted singing that– I bet she is a triflin’ friend in deed !!!!!!!

    Not sure if I can squeeze this into my TV viewing–now that Ralph Macchio’s “American Gypsies” has begun, but I am ready for the awesome recaps to come!!!!
