Kelly Osbourne was rushed to the hospital after suffering a seizure on set while taping Fashion Police. I guess they were taping when Kelly said she didn’t feel good and fell off her chair on to the floor shaking. YIKES! An emergency responder from the audience came to the rescue and Kelly came to, but was rushed to the hospital anyway. Poor Kelly. I hope she bounces back quickly. Not to sound to too shallow, but I really enjoy her as a human being.

**UPDATE** She tweeted this pic from the hospital:

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

She is actually very funny. I have seen her on the Wendy Williams show and Kathy. I kind of like her purple hair too :)

    Hope she is ok.

As someone who changes their haircolor regularly, I have to say, I love her purple hair.

I’m so sorry she’s experiencing this, and hope they can find the cause and cure quickly.

Holy shit! I do, too (enjoy her), and I had yet to hear of this! I feel badly for her. I once had a medication reaction and grand mal seizure outside the door to my apartment. I’m glad people were around…buuuut it was also embarrassing in a very odd way.

I mean, it’s not like someone can halt a seizure, and it must be doubly not-fun as a public figure. With other public figures. On camera.

Oh no, poor Kelly! :( I hope she is ok. I love her. Is there any way this could be related to Jack’s MS, are things like that hereditary? :(

@Cass, I don’t think that they are. But you never know. I have a gf that was diagnosed with MS a few yrs ago. She is the only one in her family that has it. I also know another girl that just had brain surgery. She had a seizure at work, and ended up in the back of her own ambulance. That is how she found out she had a tumor….

No, seizures aren’t a normal symptom of MS. Shaking, falling down, etc., yes. MS attacks the myelin of the brain and spinal cord (a sheath that protects the nerves.) Sorry, it’s MS Awareness month and my daughter has it. *Insert musical “The More You Know” interlude*

Kelly has been dieting so she may have messed up her electrolytes. Hope she’s okay. And I love her purple hair, too. Much better than the gray color she had last year.

@kczar-sorry to hear about your daughter…My gf in San Diego has had a rough go of it. Her Dr won’t put her on the trial drugs because of the placebo’s. He said it is to risky. She had hip surgery a few yrs ago and still has not fully recovered from it. She also has had troubles with her meds. Side effects from the side effects. I feel so bad for her. My hubby and I did the MS Walk with her at Lego Land. That was actually pretty fun. Sure it was only 3 miles, but for someone that was overweight at the time, it was fun.

She has become such a beautiful woman, and funny to boot.

Her seizure may just be a one-time thing. A friend had a grand mal in which she managed to nearly bite her tongue off (and part of her hubby’s finger when he was trying to help her). After scads of tests, no cause was found. She’s never had another one, and it’s been over 10 years now.

My best friend since the age of 10 was diagnosed with MS 2 and half years ago now…and yes, she did have a couple of grand mal seizures…they said they were MS related…

cripes, the osbournes sure have had their share of medical maladies. I guess that’s what happens when you align yourself with the powers of darkness >.< all kidding aside, I hope that her & the family is doing okay.

when my hair was watermelon-colored & short I got pretty often that I look like her so I've always felt a sort of kinship with her. we have very similar taste, too, back in the 90's & now. it's no fun being in the hospital!

Ooh that sucks. Sometimes things like this just happen. My mom had one a few years ago and it was just a freak thing. On the other hand, I’ve had three completely different convulsive episodes over the past 5 years but we’ve had no luck inducing them to figure out what the hell they are. All we’ve figured out is my right temporal lobe acts sort of strangely. Until I have them more frequently, it will remain a mystery. Still, seizures are scary and I hope that nothing’s wrong with her. I love her too. She was a real treat on Drag race all stars!!

@Sunny: Do you ever feel like you should be on an episode of “Mystery Diagnosis”? Except for that great part at the end where they actually DIAGNOSE you lol?

I do. I’ve had three hospitalizations (moderate to severe intermittent lower abdominal pain) and no explanation. I realized the other day no one had even checked my ears or eyes or mouth, or asked me about my diet and habits. Holy effed up medical system, Batman!

It sounds like you’ve at least been to a neurologist and they’re trying to help! Let’s hope things actually get better for you and there’s no need for a diagnosis :-)

@AmyOops: Sometimes! XD After the second episode, which was the worst and affected my motor skills and concentration for several months afterwards, I saw a neurologist and spent a week at an epilepsy center. Hooked up to an EEG machine 24 hours a day for six days, rapid light test every day, sleep deprivation every other day and all of this while strapped into a chair or the bed. It sucked! I suppose if someday we figure it out I could submit to that show (Which I LOVE btw). ^^

    @Sunny: It’s totally a great show, right?

You absolutely could submit to the show – with a diagnosis. Your story would actually make for good TV, which now that I think about it really sucks for you!

I don’t know how you got through sleep deprivation, seriously. I would have had a mental breakdown. So they did all that shit to you, I’d imagine trying to induce another seizure so they could figure out *why*, and couldn’t do it? Damn.

Here’s hoping to a breakthrough diagnosis, easy-peasy treatment, and your own “Mystery Diagnosis” ep!
