all-stars

Project Runway announced their new judges and host for All-Stars. Ready for it? The new host will be model and actress Angela Lindvall, while Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman serve as judges, and Marie Claire editor-in-chief Joanna Coles and Tim Gunn will mentor.

The All-Stars are Mondo Guerra, Austin Scarlett, Anthony Williams, Sweet P, Kenley Collins, Rami Kashou, Kara Janx, Elisa Jimenez, Jerell Scott, Gordana Gehlhausen, Mila Hermanovski, April Johnston and Michael Costello.

And the winner of All-stars will receive “$100,000 in cash from L’Oreal Paris, a designer’s boutique in Neiman Marcus stores, $100,000 worth of technology and office space from HP & Intel, a feature spread and one-year assignment as guest editor for Marie Claire and a sewing and embroidery studio provided by Brother International.”

Sounds like the winner will be set-up pretty damn nicely. I take back my comment about Heidi taking some time off hosting, she should sit this one out. It’s going to be a new ball game with the all-stars!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Yeah, but Elisa? Really? Was her moonchild, hippy-dippiness really that entertaining or did someone who placed better, like Jillian, turn down the offer? Because if we were going to be forced to endure another “free spirit” who was long on personality and short on skill, why not just bring back Ping?

Kenley? Ewwww. We have to listen to her whiny voice and look at her little hair ornaments and bright red lips again?

I’m actually surprised Kenley hasn’t been back before now.

Austin Scarlett is like a gay, gleaming white nosferatu that just.. will… not… stay… dead.

Whoo Hoo! Rami is back, can not wait, I lived his clothes….the only way I ever wanted to see kenley again was a death match between her and gretchen.

OMG PING! Awww… she should totally come back. I loved her.

And was Elisa the one who got hit by a car? I can’t remember. I wish Kayne was coming back, too; he was always one of my faves, even though he was a trifle tacky.

That was Elisa. She was also the one who would spit on the fabric and, probably, do some kind of Gaia worship dance around it before her spirit animal told her what to make.

She just reminded me of all those caricatured women from the women’s retreat Eddie attends on AbFab, but sadly, no Jennifer Saunders to make her faces whenever Elisa speaks.
