Project Runway Meyhem

This next season of Runway sounds like it’s going to be insane. This past Friday a psychologist came to set after a contestant had a meltdown, while another one quit. A source told Page Six that a male designer lost it on the show, so “a psychologist was brought in to talk to him, but he seemed too nervous and it was decided he should leave the show.” This was all after another designer had disappeared from set. I guess Ms. Houdini freaked out because she was paired with the bottom contestants from the previous challenge, and skipped the show in the middle of the night. Sounds like DRAMA!! But that’s what happens when you get a lot of creatives in a room. Only the strong survive I guess! As I’m typing this blog, I can’t stop singing Beck’s song…but with my own lyrics, “I got two Project Runway quitters and a microphone…where it’s at…”

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Obviously the challenge was designing something for Kenley’s new polka dot circus collection.

OH, how I love this show! I can’t wait for it and Flipit’s recaps. And after the past few lackluster seasons, including the All-Stars, it’s about time Lifetime gave us the drama.

    Beck rules.
@caligal, me too. Otherwise we’ll have another season of mammoth comment threads about how no one likes the show anymore.

I’m with Tim Gunn, and NEVER, EVER want to see another hot glue gun on that show again.

That’s it? You just change your Facebook profile to “female” and give yourself a feminine name?

Well, I’ve changed my profile to “Jedi” and you can call me Obi Wan WithoutMyTV.

Yeah, I didn’t realize FB had quite that much power either. I’m ok with it as long as there’s no backsies.

So I’m assuming “Nong” stands for “No Dong”?
