Logo announced that they’ve acquired Absolutely Fabulous, and I couldn’t be happier!! I’ve seen every episode like a million times, but I don’t care…I still LOVE it! They’re launching the show with a marathon on April 16th at 2 p.m. ET/PT. The show will then resume to it’s regular night on Thursdays at 10PM.

Hooray for the return of Patsy, and Edina!!!!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Yes! Now I can introduce AbFab to my own sweetiedarlings….

    I think my favorite episode is the one where Patsy lets it ‘slip’ that Eddie thought about aborting Saffy. God, that looks horrible in print but damn was it hilarious.

    I finally know what I will be doing the day after I file my taxes (we owe and it sucks)! I’ll be getting drunk and watching AbFab darling. It’s as though they picked the absolutely (see what I did there) perfect date.

    OMG, I love Patsy and Edina! I hope LOGO doesn’t do like they do with Daria and Strangers With Candy–they show the same 6-10 episodes over and over again.

    Good News except for the LOGO part…they must show 2 minutes of commercials and promos for their own crappy programming for every 1 minute of show…oh well…

    @thiajok, as long as LOGO shows the Debate Team episode of SWC, I don’t care how many of the same episodes they show over and over…

    My favorite is the trip to Morocco. It just hit the ground running and I think I hyperventilated from laughing so hard. Even Patsy’s “…oiselle, …oiselle,” will set me off.

    Patsy (to Saffy): “Natural?!? Natural?!? You think in the natural world you wouldn’t have been strangled at birth? You wouldn’t have lived to see the morning. (gesturing with a knitting needle) Sometimes, it’s kinder!” It is all in way she delivers the line – too funny.

    I was thinking that I’d read online recently that a rumor was going around that more episodes were being considered. But I can’t find that now. What I found is an article in US about Jennifer having breast cancer, although it states that she hasn’t publicly acknowledged it.

    I went to the library today and they had a dvd collection with all three seasons. I picked it up immediately. I’ve never seen the show, so I miss all the references, but hopefully I can soon laugh along with everyone else because I finally get the joke, lol.

    I am so excited! I got seasons 1-3 for Christmas last year! I have been a fan for ages! I need to see if I get LOGO. I’ve never heard of it.
