Really Bravo? Two Kara Shows?

I sure hope Platinum Hit strikes for Bravo, because if it doesn’t, they’re stuck with too much Kara. I haven’t seen the first episose of Platinum Hit yet, but it’s not getting great reviews. The NY Daily news is calling song writing as intersting as baking a cake (which is true). I’m not going to judge the show until I see it–so I’ll let you know what I think next week. But, as far as Kara goes, I’m sure she’s nice enough, but I’m not sure she’s compelling enough to have her own series. I’d MUCH rather see a Jenni Pulos docu over anything right now. Bravo, pay attention! Give us Jenni, not Kara!

Take a look. Do you think Kara can carry her own docu?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Not one iota. She should be proud. She might be the first (I am almost positive that this is correct) to have two shows cancelled after one season! Congratulations Kara!

I have zero interest in that songwriting show. So, yeah, two Skara shows….um, I’m not there.

As I mentioned in the other Kara thread, I’m not impressed because I, myself, am developing THREE shows with Bravo. The first is called NWMTV: Hot Royalties. Basically, it follows me and Pipa Middleton and our real-life relationship as we jet about the world, boinking on black sand beaches and planning new ways to fuck with the papparazzi.

The second show is called Andy Cohen Sucks It, Big Time! It’s a sketch comedy show where I and a constantly rotating group of up-and-coming comics rag the shit out of Andy Cohen. My favorite skit we’ve taped so far is one in which Andy’s trying to tape WWHL, but he can’t sit still, talk right, or get both of his eyes to focus because he has a butt plug the size of a football in his rectum.

The third show is Super Heroes in Flames. I basically find the most outrageous queens on earth (basically, I just wait until one of those Atlanta whores adopt a new gay mascot/pet), I give them Batman costumes, etc., and film them going about their every day routine and let the wackyness ensue: Batman trying to find fuck me pumps in a size 16 wide, a transvestite Wonder Woman trying to return an ill-fitting jockstrap to Sports Depot, etc.
