Reports From Rehab: Lindsay Is Still A Hot Mess

I’m sure you’ve been hearing all about this Lindsay Lohan rehab fight. If you haven’t, here are the cliff notes: Lindsay came home past curfew (b/c she was getting her hair done), and a worker at the rehab center was trying to get Lindsay to take a breathalyzer test because she smelled alcohol on her, Lindsay refused, and they got in a scuffle. Then, there was a phone thrown at some point, I think? Lindsay called 911. The two girls are now pointing fingers, saying the other started it, and apparently Lindsay sprained the woman’s wrist…longer story longer the woman talked to TMZ telling her side of the story, and got fired for talking to the media. Did that make sense? The story is so much longer, and convoluted, but that’s the gist of it.

Anyway…

Now that all is said and done, Radar is reporting that Lindsay could go back to jail for refusing the breathalyzer test. “Judge Fox made it very clear to Lindsay: a dirty test, or a refusal to submit to a test, would be counted and considered as a dirty test…Lindsay is in very, very big trouble. It’s very likely Judge Fox will haul her into court in the next week to deal with this…Judge Fox had been willing to give her a second chance.”

I know that they’re reporting that the woman at Betty Ford has a history of assault, but I don’t think she would attack Lindsay for no reason. I’m sure that Lindsay did something to provoke the questioning. And, the fact that Lindsay refused to take a breathalyzer?? If she were sober, why would it matter? She’d be clean, and there would be no question, she would have taken the test. Moral of the story: Lindsay is still a mess, and it seems like she’s really good at snowing everyone. And, let’s just say that Lindsay was telling the truth (in the off chance), there’s no way anyone would ever believe her at this point because she’s cried wolf too many times. I hope for Lindsay’s sake that the surveillance tapes prove her innocence.

I don’t know if jail is the answer for Lindsay…she just needs to be put away for a year (or more) in rehab. Ahh, the holidays…it’s good to know that some things never change.

    The woman working for BF was fired because she submitted her report of the incident prepared for BF to TMZ. This is a violation of Lindsey’s privacy rights as a patient.

    Not to say Lindsey is innocent, but it doesn’t much sound like the worker at the facility handled it well, either. And going to TMZ is sleazy.

    I used to defend Lindsay Lohan a bit, just out of the memory of “Freaky Friday,” “The Parent Trap,” “Mean Girls,” and some of her later performances. Was she talented? Yes. But you know what? I’ve had to come to accept that Lindsay Lohan is, for all intents and purposes, a has-been.

    And they’d have found a pharmacy if they could have squeezed a half-ounce of piss out of her. She hasn’t been in rehab nearly long enough to be going out on any kind of pass.
