reunion

I didn’t want to step on BBitz’s recap, but I don’t know if it’s going to be up today, so let’s get into it. That reunion was a mess. Ramona is an absolute crazy person. I can’t stand to even look at her. Her going after LuAnn’s marriage, divorce, and kids was NOT okay. Lulu’s poor daughter is probably a mess already, she doesn’t lushy Ramona airing out her teen years. It’s not the Real Children of the Housewives, it’s The Real Housewives…just shows Ramona’s character.

And let’s get to Cindy–man she’s an angry angry hippo. Nuff said.

As for Alex…what purpose does she serve? She’s just there to fill space. I’m sure she’s still on the show because of her freakshow husband. The only interesting thing about that couple (from this past season) is Simon’s freakish behavior because he quit smoking and the fact that he thinks he’s a pop singer. Oh, and side note…Alex is a model?

It was nice to see Sonja finally be real last night. She always lets her wild side fly, and keeps her personal life on the DL…I’m glad that she finally opened up last night and it actually seemed genuine.

Kelly- pointless. She talks in circles. She’s been on the show for how many seasons and we still don’t really know anything about her.

Jill- she was uncharacteristically quiet until Ramona attacked Lulu. Still not a fan of Jill and never will be.

Last night was a clusterf*ck. Those women are just as yappy as the Jersey girls, but at least the Jersey girls don’t whine when they fight.

Here’s the Miss Andy’s STFU moment that they cut. I’m sure they cut it because it has nothing to do with story:

I still can’t believe Miss Andy lost his cool with the ladies…he’s a network executive at the end of the day. God love him.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Jill was quiet? Seriously? Was that when she was calling Alex names or going after Ramona’s marriage? Ramona is a nut, and she should have left LuAnn’s mess of a daughter alone (it’s not her fault she has a part-time mother), but let’s be real that Ramona has taken a crap load of shit from those two, both on the show and via social networking. She earned the right to break at some point. Andy nailed it on the head that LuAnn was being passive aggressive regarding the state of Ramona’s marriage at that lunch. Ramona got the message and stuck it back at LuAnn. I know that game. LuAnn lost that round. She should have done so with more class.

I don’t usually comment on these shows but yesterday I just couldn’t handle it (shows how much of a life I have) Agreed that all the women are terrible. I like Alex las season but truth is, she’s kind of a bore but Jill…WOW..I can’t believe that I’m actually that annoyed at someone that I will never meet, thank God!! Sorry, but being mean and bitchy doesn’t mean you are stronger woman it just means that you are a horrible human being. Telling Alex that she shouldn’t be meddling but of course she was meddling when Luann was being asked something or Cindy. And then the small comments on the side when the blondes or Andy was talking…just plain RUDE! It makes you think that she really needs Bethenny…without her, she’s just a mess!

Totally agree with you Nads. I loathe Ramona. She is such the victim isn’t she. I am not saying any of the Brunettes are saints. Eh, and Alex. It was like she would not shut up whether it had to to with her or not. She came off as desperate and phony, to me. I wonder if Sonja and Ramona hang out with Alex when not filming. Even my best friend who has never seen a minute of this show (forced to watch the reunion with me, lol) was peeved by Alex. Their talking over each other drove me crazy!

I totally disagree… I think Alex is the most content housewive of the franchise. I think she is genuinely happy with her husband, strange or not, her home and her children. Jill and even Kelly on the otherhand are just so damned JEALOUS of everyone and everything that they come accross as miserable pricks.

As a side not, I was totally annoyed with NPH on “live”. Holy crap Doogie takes himself way too seriously. Come on, yea, I get it, the women are ridiculous (and, even sometimes distrubingly sad) but it’s not like situation comedies and the smurfs are shakespeare.

I don’t think I’m alone in finding it annoying and unpleasant to watch everyone talking at once. If I was the producer, I’d simply shut down taping until the catterwalling stopped, and let the “ladies” know that we would stop tape every time it happened. No way they’d waste their precious time participating in a scene they knew wouldn’t make it to air.

And why is there STILL no recap of the final episode of RHONY?

Noone came off that well that is for sure. Kelly let her insanity fly high, and I’m happy that some of the women are now holding her accountable for her nutjob ways instead of ignoring it/glossing over it.
I found it odd how Luann and Jill were ever so quick to smooth over things with Sonja and refuse to fight with her — clearly Sonja is an actual socialite and despite her divorce must still wield some clout in the rarified air of NYC.
Beyond that the screaming and insults were pretty much what I expected…however Jill was beyond evil by throwing out the whole I would never say Mario is sleeping around, but that is what is being said in my social circle crap. God I hope that Bawby will be found out sleeping with his receptionist (or better still, Assley from RHNJ) not just for the revenge alone…for Bawbys sake as well. He seems like a nice enough guy and being married to that shrewish yenta must be hell.

Everyone acted as expected, insanely rude. Sonja was surprisingly genuine and forthcoming. Like! Kelly was low IQ as usual, and i loved when Andy asked if she had been on meds this season. Alex kept annoying the brunnettes, so i say keep her!

Damn. There’s no way this show can continue with us believing these ladies to be friends. It’s clear they hate one another and are forced together by contractual obligations. I say, like NPH said, scrap ‘em and start anew.

@kdognatl: I agree wholeheartedly. Ra-Moaner was awful. Maybe it was because she had her period? PMS is a bitch! (Haha!) No..she’s always awful, always going for the low blow. At her meeting with Luann, to decline an appearance in Luann’s video, she only needed to say, “Sorry, I’m busy.” But she picked at Luann’s parenting, told Luann how her son was embarrassed, remarked on how Avery was a cut above Luann’s kids, then said Luann was a bad influence/role model because of her music video scenes. Then, to add feul to the fire, Ramona said that she was in the best marriage ever and Luann could only hope to be so lucky. “I’m the luckiest woman alive. I have been married for 18 years and I hope YOU will be married for 18 years just like me. Avery, Mario and I are a trifecta.”

After all the passive-aggressive insults, Luann had had enough. Doth protest too much, Ramona. So, Luann replies..”And how is that ‘trifecta’ working for you?” That, alone, was enough to send Ramona into a tizzy. (And showed all her insecurities about her marriage. Remember how Mario avoided her eye during the finale while she gazed lovingly at his face? Or how he had made the hand motions “Over the hill”, when he remarked how it was impossible for Ramona to be pregnant?)
Well, Ramona went for the jugular..accusing Luann of being an epic fail of a wife, saying Luann’s ex-husband cheated on her left and right.
“Fuck off, you bug eyed bitch!”
If I were Luann, that’s what I would’ve said. Fuck class..I would’ve schooled that bitch.

Here lies the difference between Alex and Cindy. For most of the conflicts that aired during the reunion: Luann vs Ramona, Sonja vs Kelly, Jill vs Ramona; when Cindy had no iron in the fire, she kept quiet. Alex, on the other hand..jumped in at every turn, hoping to bring the lens her way. She does anything for camera time. How ’bout you shut up, sit pretty, and mind your business? Don’t speak until spoken to. This would have cast her in a far better light; you can’t constantly go after people, picking fights on other’s behalves, then call yourself a victim. Not only did Louis Vuitton make a mistake, so did Alex’s parents.

    (Too harsh?) Sorry!

I thought the basketball wives were nasty. These ladies take the cake. It’s hilarious how they will watch a montage of themselves and look at Andy as if that montage makes their point when really it was a montage of footage made to make you look rude, dismissive, or two faced.

I really wish the show had more moments like the silly Sonya and Ramona bits. While I love the fighting it is fun to see them having fun together also.

Ramona is the meanest, most vile housewife. She attacks the other women’s family members, including minor children. She is also completely delusional – sneering at Jill as she says that she has “young genes and doesn’t need a liquid facelift” while her face is so frozen she constantly bugs her eyes out trying to create facial expressions. Alex is runner-up for worst behaved housewife – shut up already – nobody cares. NPH called Alex Frankenstein Face on WWHL – Andy looked like he was amused/uncomfortable. Alex’s modeling is very funny though – she really turns on the “smize”. During Reunion Part 1 I thought LuAnn was pretty classy, Kelly was called out as needed, Jill was Jill, Sonia redeemed herself and Cindy was insignificant.

@ohralphie, I noticed Luann and Jill also being awfully nice to Sonja also. Although they’d both had some pretty mean things to say about her during the season. Maybe it was because her discussion about her bankruptcy and divorce was the first thing discussed.

Wow, these are some vile bitches! and Kelly, if your basis of reality is Cosmopolitan magazine, then I think social services should be called to collect your children until your brain reaches the age of consent. Cause you crazy, girl!

Please tell me that they are going to scrap this current lot and start over.

Did anyone else find it odd that the brunettes seemed so bothered by the fact that Sonja and Alex managed to work out their differences? It was as if they were offended by it. Like, how dare grown women disagree and then resolve the issue and move on like adults.

I think Ramona went for Luann’s jugular b/c all season they were portraying her as a drunk. Unlike most of the other women, she has companies to run. Also, her husband sells religious artifacts. Not saying she doesn’t make an ass of herself – she does. But Luann has been passive – aggressive for years. Also, Ramona may have used Avery as an excuse b/c for a lot of events Luann would use her kids as an excuse. Pot meet kettle. They are all hypocritical bitches.
I think alex kept jumping in because Sonja won’t, and Ramona doesn’t think of it until later on in her blog. So alex was doing what the brunettes do but somehow she was in the wrong?? Not in my opinion. I like her b/c she does seem real. I just wish she could argue better.

    Jill is such a twat.

Disappointed with Alex. She was trying to be like the rest of them but it just isn’t her personality to be as shallow, self-centered and bitchy as the rest of them. So she came off looking kind of desperate, bossy and shrill. Luanne and her “How could you Ramona?!” about her kids was very fake and rehearsed to me-like she was just waiting to take the “high horse” against Ramona. I think the brunettes as a whole are very phony and constantly trying to project images of themselves as so wonderful, whereas the blondes are a little more spontaneous and not as afraid to show their bad sides occasionally. They were all behaving like bratty children at the reunion-unbelievable for grown “classy” women-what a joke.

Lol! Ramona really is a little cunt isn’t she. Complaining that Luanne is a “part-time” mother? Better than being outed by her own daughter as a NEVER THERE MOM! And Avery is a little brat by the way. KNOW THAT Ramona!

Now, can we PLEASE get a new cast? (Though I may be okay with Sonja and/or Alex staying – if Simon goes)

Oh, and Ramona IS A DRUNK!!!

I think I may actually be OK with them completely recasting this show. I hate them all now. Sonja’s not too bad. She was terrible at the beginning of the season, but when you think back on it she was just terrible to Horsemouth Cindy. Cindy is such a pain in the ass. I love that she acts as though she’s Miss Business and Full-Time Mommy when she has 12 nannies, a gay baby daddy, and the wit of a 2-year-old. Who the holy fuck thought she’d be a good addition to this show?

I really, really hate these women now. Sonja is the only one with some redeeming qualities simply because she can make fun of herself. I love people who don’t take themselves so seriously.
