Here is the promo for Ricki Lake’s new talk show that’s coming out this fall. From watching the promo, it looks like Ricki is all about “connecting” with people and getting out there in the streets like she’s the everyday gal. It looks like everything the Bethenny show should have been, but couldn’t pull off. I know it’s been a while since we’ve seen Ricki in a talk show forum, but I think she’ll do great. People love her and she looks fantastic, doesn’t she?

Oh, and if you’re a die hard Ricki fan, Ricki is going to do a big web push leading up to the premiere of her show. She’s going the Jimmy Fallon route (when he first started Late Night), and will be hosting live interactive production meetings on Facebook starting July 19th at 5PM ET. Yay, thanks interweb!

Here’s the promo, what do you think daytime fans?

Her new show premieres September 10th.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I am so on board with Ricki Lake–love her. I love that she’s a little imperfect and looks awesome. I figured when she appeared on “Dancing With The Stars”, we would see on her own talk show. YAY !!!!

She’s like the girl you remember from high school–you were friendly but not besties and you have good feeling towards her and NOW–she’s gonna be on TV again !!!!!! And it makes you happy.

Do we get to shout “Go, Ricki! Go, Ricki!” like in the old days of her talk show? I loooove Ricki. Who couldn’t love Pepper Walker/Tracy Turnblad? She was also a badass headmistress on one of the Charm Schools. I (heart) Ricki. I’ll definitely watch her show.
