Farrah Fawcett passed away this morning after her long battle with cancer. So sad. Ryan O’Neal released the statement, “After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away…Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”

R.I.P. Farrah :(

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

How sad… I can’t think of an image that was a more glorious paean to the beauty and excess of the 1970′s. I also hope people don’t forget that she actually had some acting talent, too, it wasn’t all just flippy hair and bouncing up and down. I was so hoping for an Angels reunion on the upcoming season of “Shear Genius” but I guess that will never happen now.

love to you, Farrah, you inspired a whole lot of people…

    love, J-Mo :_)

So sad. Even sadder that her kid was (is) in jail at the time.

I remember (when I was a kid) thinking that was the sexiest pin up I had ever seen.

Also, did you realise she was only on Charlie’s Angels for one year? I know she went on to gain acclaim in the theatre and such, but what was she really famous for? Her hair?!

An amazing woman, so beautiful and so talented.

I rocked my own “Farrah” hair in the ’70′s of course mine was just a poor imitation of the original.

    Rest in peace angel Farrah.

    Donna Martin:

Farrah was indeed only on Charlie’s Angels for one year, but she made a lot of critically acclaimed TV movies. She starred in “The Burning Bed” with Paul Le Mat which I think was her best work. She did the stage and film version of “Extremities” which is a horrifying story of rape.

I also really liked her as a murdering psychopathic mother in a TV movie of a true story. The show was called “Small Sacrifices” they show it on Lifetime once in a while, it’s disturbing but very good.
