The Today Show posted a preview from the Dr. Phil/Ronaiah interview that’s airing tomorrow. Dr. Phil on Ronaiah, “Here we have a young man that fell deeply, in love.” OMG. This is going to be one juicy ass interview!!! It’s such a crazy story, isn’t it? I can’t wait for it. I’m sure we’ll be seeing Ronaiah on the It’s Gets Better campaign within a month after this thing airs. What a story!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

All I have to say is what kind of screwed up world do we live in where people have to deny who they are?

He doesn’t _have_ to do anything but shit and pay taxes.

My question is what kind of screwed up people blame the world we live in for their deliberate and calculated decision to hurt someone knowing the it wouldn’t end well for his victim?

I am so ready to hear this!!!!! I have my pint glass at the ready and ya know— I will wear my ND sweat-shirt. Mr C is a big ND fan and this whole Teo thing has him befuddled. I made him watch CatFish to see how this can happen to a “really smart guy—You need Honors Calculus to get in to ND, Cawfee!!!!!!”
I guess this is what Dr Phil calls a “teachable moment” at Cawfee’s house.

    bbwwaaahhaaaaaaa—–my cap code is……………………..mumbo jumbo

I fell deeply in love with the red-headed girl with all the freckles holding the teeny kitten in that poster they have on the wall at PetSmart.

But my love didn’t make her real.

I happened to be home sick yesterday and caught this interview (so I of course had to set my dvr for part 2 today). In typical Dr. Phil fashion it was overly dramatic and drawn out. And that Dr. Sophy guy was there. Correct me if I’m wrong but hasn’t that guy showed up on Celebrity Rehab? Or was he Taylor’s doc on RHOBH? All these shows just blend together now.

The most interesting part Ronaiah needs to rehabilitate himself from possibly being gay though he’s not sure if he’s actually gay. It’s sad that if he is in fact gay, he thinks he needs to work on changing rather than accepting himself for who he is. It’s 2013 people.

I saw the first part of this interview——-so he is gay but “is recovering from homosexuality” ????

I know Mere!!!!!! Lordy– its 2013. Man up for the love of Mike (or Manti—like what I did there???) and stand up to everything.
I want to hear the “voice”. I am sure Dr Phil will drag that out till the end. I think his parents, pastor and lawyer were all sitting right there during the interview ready to stop it at any time. I dont think he is the voice; he had a girl do it.

What is interesting here is that Manti and “Lenae” broke up many times and got back together. But still never saw each other. And Manti was a bit of a dirty dog– was skype-ing with the ladies—-all very interesting.

It was so ridic. What’s he going to do? Go to Jesus gay camp like the guy in SAVED? Unbelievable. I hope he finds his peace one day and is okay with who he is.

@HotC, I was confused for a moment. Well, confusion is par for me, but….

As a transplanted Minnesotan, I kept reading ND as North Dakota, and wondering what that had to do with anything.

I think I’ll lie down for a while.

Today he is supposed to do the ‘voice’ behind a screen. This was after the FBI and Secret Service came back with only a 16% match that it’s him!

I just don’t believe him. I know that makes me a terrible person but there is something about the guy that makes me think this is all an act.

oh Lordy— my cap code is …………………..fait accompli. CC you never disappoint.

I watched both epsiodes anf found this tragic. If what he says is true about the sexual abuse, I can see that it behooves well…really puts an obligation on Manti to reach and talk–and accept an apology.

The local news in NY did their own voice test and with all respect to Phil and his crew, the ABC News found the voice to not be Ronaiah’s voice. I think a girl was involved and Ronaiah is covering for he. If he wants to take all the heat (and he really should) then let him.

@9 Snowy— I hear ya!!! Thank God I had no drinking game whatsoever planned for this show—-too many characters and jumps in time. Alot to keep track of—well Jeepers!!!!! I guess we have to hand it to Ronaiah–he really kept the lie going—no “rookie mistakes” for him.
