Rumor has it that our lil’ Lindsay is in negotiations to be on DWTS next season. Apparently the Betty Ford Clinic is 100% behind her, and gave her the green light to start negotiations. Radar reported, “Lindsay’s treatment team thinks Dancing With the Stars would be a perfect transition back to work for her. She would have a set schedule everyday, would be occupied and would be very productive. Lindsay wanted their approval before proceeding in talks with the producers and she got it…”

Who knows if it’s true, but if it is…think of the ratings. OMG! It would be insane. For most celebs, doing reality could be the kiss of death, but considering Lindsay’s career is practically DEAD, DWTS could be a great revival. If she actually does it, and doesn’t fall off the wagon, do you think DWTS could resuscitate her career? I mean, it can’t get any worse considering her career has been us following her falling off the wagon, go back to rehab, and then falling off again.

**UPDATE** They’re saying it’s a rumor, but I actually kind of think it still COULD happen…don’t you? I mean, how will she come back from all of this??

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I think Lindsay should do something like a new version of Celeb Rehab, a whole new show, new Dr., etc. Love Dr. Drew and crew but Lindsey has never stepped up to the plate and ,while I’m not a fan of hers, I would be interested in her reinventing herself and taking some Effing responsibility. Someone needs to do a Gordon Ramey LITE style rehab, show us that and those of us who have been through treatment (a million years ago) or have friends going through addiction treatment at the moment would be behind her a lot more.

FYI We are all upper middle class so watching these people skate in court make us fairly peeved when we have spent money on lawers but are good enough people who say “I need to get my stuff together”, “I’m wrong” not Let’s dance! because I have to pay my entourage.

Nads, I think this would be too sensational and nasty to not watch! I cannot stand her and I always try to tune out when she is being splashed all over the media, but DWTS is my show and if she deems us worthy so be it. It could turn out to be one hell of a train wreck, or a big bore. If she stays true to form it will definitely be worth watching. WELCOME LINDSAY dance you fool dance, ha ha ha aha…..

On second thought…Lindsay and DWTS. Pretty awesome. I’m just jealous that she has this recourse. But my idea is juicier…

At first mention of Lindsay being on DTWS, I thought it would ruin her career. Now I’m saying, what career? This is the show of has-beens who want an easy comeback and since she’s not making any films..

The only downside would be if she gets eliminated in the first round. Because while I’ll watch her, i can’t really be asked to vote for her, can I? That would asking too much. I’d rather watch a train wreck..I’m sure she’ll be as commited as Bristol, with dumb-downed routines and a puffy body gesticulating on a birghtly lit stage, but hey, entertainment comes in many forms, amirite? Go Lindsay!

I really don’t think she would get eliminated too soon. She would get the audience that the producers salivate over. Good or bad publicity they don’t care. She is desperate now, having to actually admit she is an addict. Nowhere to go but UP dance you little diva dance….. oh god , I am starting to get excited about this. My taste was in the gutter before but now? Lindsay? oh well, sit back and enjoy.

Yea, but do you really think she could commit to learning the routines? She hasn’t comminted to anything lately, except meeting her dealer in dark alleys and dank bathrooms. Now, if she’s good she’ll go far. If she sucks… hopefully the 12 steps will stick because rejection like that will make anyone jones for that white powdery goodness. (and I aint talkin’ Ajax!)

sarcasatire, you are right on the money! It would really be stressful and she would be in real danger of slipping, if her recovery is real at all. If it is the real deal, she should know that making decisions that put her in jeopardy would increase her failure. If she does have a sponsor she could do alright. They have had a couple of recently sober folks come on right? Steve o and Aaron Carter I think. Not quite sure how they are doing but it is really grueling and with her work history it could be a big joke. Not even considering the addiction but just the way she was with the studios in the past. Holding up productions and not showing up , just indifferent and obnoxioux behavior. It would be fun to watch, sick as I am. I have to admit I will take pleasure in it and what does that say about me?

She would be getting a ton of exercise which would increase her natural endorphins and would probably keep her away from the drugs. I would actually vote for her because so many people want to see her fail. She’s not as horrible and unlikable as Kate Gosselin and she’s not a right wing foil like Miss Piggy was this past season.

I’d vote for her if she did well and looked vested in the project. But I’ve always liked her. She was a talented child actor who got turned around a million different ways and screwed up her career and life because of it, but last I checked, her behavior only hurt herself. That’s a cause for pity not hate from me.

And after being demanded, by the show, that I like Bristol Palin and not judge her based upon who her mother is or whatever past mistakes she may have had and just clap like a seal because she’s not drooling on herself 24/7 because “she’s not a performer” I’ll happily cheer for someone who’s never uttered a political word in her life, but needs to turn it around just so she can live to see her 30th birthday.

I think it might be good for her. She does have diva tendencies. Like on the show with the 2 photographers. She kept them waiting for hours. Of course, they kissed her ass and allowed it. But, I think if they put with a no nonsense professional they might be able to whip her ass into shape and not put up with her shit.

Put her with Max. He’ll whip her into shape.

I’ll never forget his idea of a compliment the first season he was on. “It doesn’t suck as much.”
