Sad news, Jeff Conaway is in a coma from an alleged drug overdose. He was found unconscience his home last week by a friend, and rushed to a hospital. He hasn’t come to yet, but he apparently turned his head this past Sunday. I hope he can pull through. So sad.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Zsa Zsa Gabor is also in a coma now.

Two very different careers…but I feel sorry for both of them.

Zsa Zsa Gabor is in her 90′s. She has lived a very full life and has positively affected the lives of many through her work. I hope she pulls through but if she doesn’t, I won’t feel too sorry for her because she has lived almost 100 years and her death is just the inevitable course of nature.

Jeff Conaway’s coma, on the other hand, is a man made disaster. He has many demons. I saw him on Celeb Rehab and he was hurting deeply. I feel bad for him. I hope he does pull through so that he can get the help he needs and triumph over his disease once and for all.

    I’m rooting for you both!

I feel sorry for Zsa Zsa because her final years were spent married to a human leech…and she’s been very sick for quite a while.

As for Jeff Conway…he has always been disappointed in himself. He was in one of the top movies of all time, and a successful sitcom…yet he always wanted more. It’s just sad to see a person self-destruct.

someone needs to sue Dr. Drew. Give me one success story from Celeb Rehab. They all appear to get worse after going on the show.

Jeff may surprise us yet. After his head injury, T.J. Lavin, host of Road Rules/The Challenge, came out of his coma and could write his name with crayons. Doctors said T.J. couldn’t do that BEFORE the coma…

I dont feel sorry for someone who took so many pills he is gonna die.

I feel angry though over the MANY MANY enablers that brought him his stash. One report has it he was brought vicodin in a gatorade bottle he needed so many

Feel sorry for people who deserve it

I do feel bad for Jeff. I also get angry even though I do believe addiction is a disease. I saw him on Celebrity Rehab too and he was a colossal mess. That girlfriend of his was a mess and an enabler.
As for Zsa Zsa I’m surprised she’s lived this long. I would’ve thought Prince Von A-Hole would have pushed her down the stairs years ago.

@2hyper: Why does Dr. Drew need to get sued? These D-listers chose to go on Celebrity Rehab instead of some other rehab place. Maybe he’s a quack, maybe he’s a fame whore, but when they leave he tells them to get into a support program or they’re almost sure to start using again. The ones who don’t follow his advice end up as Newsgasms. What more is Drew morally required to do?

I agree with NWMTV. If he had cancer and refused to take chemo or whatever treatment was recommended by his doc, would it be the doc’s fault if he died? Of course not! What’s the difference here? It doesn’t matter if Dr. Drew is the worst doctor in the world or the best doctor in the world. Jeff is in a coma because he is a drug addict that refused help repeatedly. He wanted his pills more than he wanted to live. He even said almost those exact words. Frankly, I’m surprised he has lived this long. Not saying it isn’t sad, because it definitely is a terrible waste of a life. But it was his own choosing.
