According to this commercial Shannen Doherty is getting her degree online. I haven’t seen this commercial in L.A., but @nikkihughes sent this to me, and I almost fell off my chair. I love that Brenda Shannen listed her credentials at the top of the commercial to let us know how legit she is. She says, “I’ve played the girl next door, and the girl not so next door. I’ve produced, I’ve directed, but now I’m doing something I’ve always wanted to do for me…I’m on my way to getting my college degree!”

She must be hurting for cash to do a regional commercial and for opening up her life for a reality show. I guess girls gotta do, what a girls gotta do… At least she didn’t do a commercial for ITT Tech, I’d say that’d be an all-time low. I can’t wait to see her online college graduation, wait…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Ok, but seriously…the best part is when she’s dressed “in character” because she’s studying “on set”. hahahaha

    OMG, I saw this last night and had to rewind it to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating. Oh well, girl’s got to make a living. Better than posing for Playboy or marrying someone on tv to make money I guess.

    It’s BEEN on in Alabama…for a WHILE! Shit it hilare….every time it comes on, my boyfriend goes “WTF IS UUUUUP WITH HER TEETH! UGH!” fuckin love it.

    Oh, wow, a degree in Liberal Arts. That’ll come in REAL handy. If acting doesn’t work out, she can always get a job in one of those Liberal Arts Factories that are all over the place nowadays.

    Shannen was the only good thing about “Charmed,” but damn, girl. Seriouslies?

    Wow I just saw this commercial in Texas for the first time. First thought was how bad is your career that you cant even get on a reality show to jumpstart your career you have to resort to paid commercial gigs…she should at least have sell her soul over in Japan/China so her humilation would be limited.
