HELP! When I saw the promo for ABC’s new show Skating With the Stars, I thought I was watching a spoof of DWTS. No joke. I was like, this can’t be a show. Am I watching SNL? Are you kidding me? Then, they showed the cast…

And if you haven’t heard yet, here’s their big cast:

-REBECCA BUDIG – actress, All My Children

-BETHENNY FRANKEL – Housewives of New York, and of course Bethenny Getting Married?

-JONNY MOSELEY – pro skier

-VINCE NEIL – Motley Crue frontman

-BRANDON MYCHAL SMITH – Disney star

-SEAN YOUNG – Blade Runner star

Yeah, basically WHOOO CARES??!!! Why are they even bothering? I love ice skating, but could they not have gotten a more interesting cast for their first season? It’s not like ABC has a hard time scoring celebs. What’s the deal?? And did they not do their research? Fox used to have a similar show back in 2006, and it flopped. Anyway…

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Well, Sean Young is batshit crazy and will do anything to get a role. Anyone remember the whole Catwoman debacle?

    That was, what, 20 years ago? You’d think she’d have taken the hint by now, and figured out that acting just isn’t her thing.

    Right now she’s on Young and the Restless (because she’s friends with Eric Braeden.) Her acting has deteriorated considerably…probably from all the drugs and drinking. She is just awful.

    Can’t wait to see her fall on her fat, delusional, pampered ass.

    I don’t think Jill’s brand of crazy could ever stand up to Sean’s brand of crazy – Sean would definitely cut a bitch.

    We can put it on the pile with “I’m not here to make friends,” “on the chopping block,” and “throw under the bus.”

    Sean Young is pissing me off on The Young and the Restless. I hope she fails quicky and painfullly.

    YES!! Jill Zaaaaaarin must be stomping around her apartment speaker phoning her fake friends and gay husband Brad. I love it!!!

    FOX did this a few years ago and called it Skating with Celebrities. Kristi Swanson won and it was a big, giant fail. Kinda surprised another network is trying it out.

    If memory serves me, there was a big scandal the first time ’round cause Kristy Swanson ended up leaving her husband for her skating partner.

    Really Bethanny? That one threw me.

    @itchy – not to worry, Oprahs having the word ‘bitch’ banned from use. I guess we’ll have to replace it with ‘smurf’.

    I remember the Kristy Swanson scandal, and I also remember that the ridiculous Jillian Barberie was on a previous incarnation of this show. Was there one or more than one? Put me in the why-are-they-bothering category too.

    Sean Young is awful and I’m surprised that Vince Neil can even stand up that long, much less skate.

    Congrats on your Disney/ABC thing this weekend, Nads! I’m sure you’ll make us proud. We will all say we knew you when, before you got mad famous.

    giffordsaz…if you watch Y&R, you gotta read Martini Kitty’s column over at soaptownusa. That woman is a riot, and she’s been ripping on Sean Young since “Meggie” was introduced.
