MTV Cancels Skins

Shocking news everyone, the UK phenomenon, Skins, has been canceled. I don’t know if it was the bad acting, the lack of nudity or what did the trick…either way, it’s officially a goner. Thank God.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Now all they have to do is cancel Teen Wolf and MAYBE MTV might go back to playing videos. I know, one can dream.

What do you mean, lack of nudity? The exposed bras on this show made Snooki and Jwoww shake their heads in pity.

True, Jess, but the UK one showed bush. In the very first episode. It definitely set a precedent.

Had this been developed for Showtime and airing before/after Californication, I could imagine it doing much better in the States.

Good riddance ! I still wonder how the MTV scenarists transformed such a great UK show into such a piece of crap.
I dreaded a season 2 because it is the best season in the UK version and they probably would have butchered the story (especially the Chris / Jal part).

Good. The UK version was terrible, and so was this one.
