Snooki’s People Magazine Cover Bombed

The NY Post is reporting that Our princess of Poughkeepsie, Snooki got paid somewhere between $250-$300K for her People magazine cover, and apparently People magazine only sold less than a million copies. So that equals a big bomb for People, but what does Snooki care?? She made her money and ran with it like a smart little meatball. It’s still so crazy to me to think just a few years ago, Snooki was totally broke living with her parents, and now she’s totally rich living with Jionni’s parents. Funny how that works.

All I have to say is she better start saving her reality money, because that well is going to dry up pretty quick.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Agree or not that was a horrible picture of her and the baby.

What is she on or who tired was she? That looks like my “I’ve been partying all night” drivers license photo.

You know, as ridiculous as she is, I’ve never blamed her for milking her fame for all it’s worth. We’re the fools that have made her a star and she’s just going along for the ride and making the most out of it. The Kardashians too. I just can’t hate on them, I’d do the same thing.

Because the picture was clearly airbrushed. It looks crazy. And we know Snooks for her wild antics not her settled baby mama ways

What am I missing? ALL magazine covers are airbrushed. Do people just have preconceived notions because it’s Snooki?

The kardashians believe they are better than it all, and they are performing acts for humanity

Judgy – I don’t watch the show so I don’t know if Snooki’s eyes always look like they are bulging out of her head or she kept closing her eyes during photos and she is making sure they are open. They look odd to me.

I’ve never seen the show nor do I care to buy the magazine, but when I saw it in the store I had a LOL moment over the baby’s little guido outfit.

I don’t understand the buying public apparently…..I subscribe to People and a few other entertainment magazines, and anyone who reads these know that the cover is only one interview in a packed magazine. Why in the world would someone not buy the issue because of one cover photo? That’s foreign to me. If I am not interested in the cover subject, I just skip that part inside the mag. :P

She got a BAD nose job and that hooker eyeshadow is just accentuating the negative. There was a wave of “Jersey Shore girls w/o make up” articles and Sammy and Snooki looked best IMO. But they were also pre-op and their natural selves.

Snooks is trying to shrink her features while Jenny’s face is so bloated with filler she looks like a tick that is about to pop.

That picture is disturbing…not surprised she didn’t sell more copies. Unfortunately people wanna see Snooki pee on a dance floor, sleep till 4 with crocadilly than watch her be a mother…she wasn’t cast for that role.

It isn’t simply that the picture was photoshopped. Yes, we are all used to that. The thing that makes Snooks’ picture so disturbing is that it looks like one of those photos that moms send to T&T pagesants to buy the kid a “most photogenic” crown.

It has no bearing on reality.

My big concern is what having a baby is going to do to her figure.

she has those “dead paula deen eyes” in that pic…not the look we are use to half aware/possibly intoxicated/im gonna bitch fight you” look we are use to.

I have hopes for this girl that she will invest wisely and be a good mom…the interview was actually cute ( didn’t buy the mag-my mom has a subscription!)

@ 6 Khakie– “performing acts for humanity”–yay– the Kartrashians are getting steralized!!!!!!!

Hot she wasn’t invited to the most recent party In Touch just had. Me thinks they are a little angry about the “yeah we take money who cares what they print” attitude from Joe and Tre admitting she lies to them.

I read somewhere In Touch only has 800k readers compared to People that averages 3.1M.

Nikki when you purchase a magazine you are supporting that publication and the decision to have that certain person on the cover. I don’t remember if it was Marie Claire, Lucky or Allure that recently had the Kartrashians on the cover and that was their lowest selling issue. I understand what you are saying, but that is how some choose to let publications know they are not okay with the trash on TV on their magazine covers.

I gave up buys the rags as a NY resolution in 09 BUT if I still did I would never buy anything with a Trashian or a Jersey Shore ass on the cover.
