Spencer: The Divorce Was Fake

Wow, hell has frozen over because Spencer Pratt just admitted to Life & Style that their divorce was fake. They did it in hopes of landing a reality show for a British TV network.  Spencer said, “The divorce was real — just the idea behind it was different than most people’s…Divorcing was the only way to keep Heidi’s career going because everyone hated me so much. Look at Sandra Bullock — her divorce from Jesse James was the best thing to happen to her image.”

I don’t even know what to say to Spencer’s comment. It can’t be real. He can’t possibly be THIS human.

Is this his way of trying to get us to sympathise with him? He’s the douchebag that got them in this mess. I understand that The Hills is a “produced” reality show, but there are different ways at presenting yourself when you’re not in a scene. Did he have to be a doucebag all the times he was on The Insider, and other magazine type shows? Was his paycheck worth tarnishing his image, and Heidi’s body to the point of no repair? I guess it was. Karma’s a bitch.

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    Why are these two vapid fools still getting any attention? They have no discernable talent, zero charisma, and no personality.

    Please stop giving them validation by including them in anything that has to do with “celebrity” or “entertainment” news.

    I feel horrible for Heidi’s parents. Well, her mom, at least. I’m sure she was so excited for the divorce, and I’m sure Heidi lied to her face about the logic behind it. She’s such a pathetic example of a victim of Hollywood. They both fail to be anything but cautionary tales.

    @Hypno – Heidi has cut off all contact with her family, and tried to have her mother arrested last year when she showed up at Heidi’s house to ry and talk to her.

    Her mother and stepfather lost their restaurant in October, and Darlene is now cleaning houses to jeep things going. She has her own blog and pretty much beats herself up over Heidi, she hasn’t realized or accepted the fact that her daughter is a sociopath with an unhealthy appetite for attention, and suffers from a total lack of empathy. Heidi’s sister has said all along it was a bid for attention. Believe it or not, as much of a douche as I think Spencer is, I think he’s a victim too.

    Wow -typos! Sorry, I’m really tired, LOL. Anyway… Heidi hasn’t any direct contact with her family in almost a year.

    ZCheez, I read the blog you posted a link for in the forums, and I feel so bad for Heidi’s mother. She really is a sweet woman, from what I can gather a wonderful mother, and she thinks its her fault that Heidi is such a monster. I think her and Spencer deserve each other and I’m GLAD that they’re broke and living in Spencer’s parents guest house. They made a few million dollars in a matter of years for basically doing nothing and squandered it all. That alone makes me sick. They got exactly what was coming to them. I do agree though, that Heidi is a complete sociopath. Lauren Conrad got her number right from the start, and I think that is the only reason why Heidi so desperately tried to get LC to be her friend again. She simply couldn’t handle the thought that anyone would see right through her so easily.

    I know @Jeanine, I just feel so bad for her! BTW – I was in Jupiter for dinner tonight, I ate at Jetty’s. I thought about PM’ing you but my parents booked me solid with relatives and dinner obligations. I’ll be back in the spring, and I’d love to get together with you and Coleen. I’m hoping to hit that thrift shop – and I’ll PM you the info when I do!

    @Pixie – I thought the same thing, she looks like she was post-nose job but pre-She Devil.

    ZCheez, I just drove by Jetty’s tonight with my boyfriend! We went to Schooner’s right next door! Wow, we absolutely JUST missed each other! :( Definitely let me know next time you’re in town, we’ll grab a drink and dish on some Housewives! :) :) :)

    Really?? I could hear the music there, we sat outside – did they have a band there, it sounded pretty good! I should have PM’d you!!!! Damn, that would have been so fun to just walk over and have a quick drink!

    I will most definitely connect with you next time. I love it down here, and have lots of family here – I’d love to live here!!!

    The Sandra Bullock comment was just fucked beyond belief. What was her image BEFORE breking up with Jessie? Drug-fueled, asshole party girl? Sandra was America’s sweetheart long ago…and the Jessie thing didn’t change that. Heidi is a delusional toolbag with piss for brains…and breaking up with Spencer wouldn’t change THAT. You can’t compare the two.
