Did you see who got kicked off Idol last night?? I called it with my friends! Stop reading now if you don’t want to know who got kicked off…otherwise, let’s get to it…

Fifty-five million people voted, and they decied that Thia and Naima were going home. I was shocked that toothy Paul made it through, but I had a feeling he would based on his looks (and the tween voters). I thought that Thia did a great job on Wednesday, and that she has an incredible voice, but she’s just sooo boring, and doesn’t act her age. As for Naima, I don’t know what to think. She was super entertaining to watch, but put her next to Pia, and it’s amateur hour. Pia sings circles around our little Rastafari.

I think the right people went home. Paul’s next in my opinion…

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Glad to see Zzzzzz – a – magia go! Naima was different but TOO different for mainstream middle class America. Tribal dancing made me want to put a bone thru my nose and raggae Elton made me want to smoke a bone. See ya Gals – down to 3 girls left.

Soon as I heard that fake Jamaican accent, I knew she was a goner.

i thought bradley cooper made it through because of VFTW? i wish stefano would have gone. as bad as naima was, i always looked forward to the trainwreck she brings to the table every time. stefano is nothing to look forward to. he’s lame to watch, IMO. hope he’s next.

I called the losers too. I knoew it was Snoozers time to go and Naima always gets bad reviews. I hope Stefano goes next. He’s Spanish Adult Contemporary Lite to me and I’m not a huge fan.

Naima definitely brought entertainment each week. Clearly she wasn’t going to win, but I looked forward to seeing what she’d do each week. Can’t say the same for Thia, Pia, or Paul.
