Michael Phleps won his 19th Olympic medal today! He got the silver in the 200 butterfly and the gold in the 4×200 freestyle relay. Pretty damn impressive!

I was shocked that he didn’t get the gold in the butterfly, but that’s what happens when you don’t eat your Wheaties and smoke too much pot…you get SILVER, not GOLD! ;-)

Congrats to Michael Phelps on making history!

On to other RAD news, the U.S. Gymnastics team took the Gold! This is their first Gold since the Magnificent Seven won in 1996! Congrats!

I can’t get enough of the Olympics!!!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Seriously – could you guys please keep results out of the headlines until the prime time airs that night on NBC? Kind of screwed up to spoil in a headline. Those of watch trying to watch fresh at night know to not click on articles here, but I thought I’d be safe just looking at your home page.

Spoiling wins for us, Nads? What is this, NBC? (Haha, burn!)

I just read how just before Missy Franklin’s race, NBC flashed a shot of her wearing the gold medal while being interviewed. Ooops! haha

Aw, Nads, don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s kind of hard to avoid ALL spoilers if you want to watch it ‘live’ – you’d have to almost avoid all media/social media all day. Your excitement is contagious, and it’s cool that you ARE so excited about it! Too many folks are sort of ‘ho hum’ about the Olympics and I think they are just awesome. I saw the results before I saw the actual events but it didn’t make it any less ‘real’ for me.

Agree with ClasSay @8 that it is just fine. NBC probably had it featured on the Today Show Beforehand anyway.

Thanks guys! You made my day with your comments! I had unpublished it and re-published it for later b/c I didn’t realize how upset people would get. I feel like a kid watching the Olympics, I’ll even watch repeat races and peformances, it’s still exciting for me!

Have an awesome day everyone! I promise no more spoiler alerts, I’ll wait until midnight if I write about the games! :-)

Aww, Nads, I was just teasing ya! I don’t mind at all if the Olympic games are spoiled because it was still exciting to watch the race afterwards. Sure, we know he won, but we didn’t know by how much…I was glued to my seat!

Also, does anyone know where I can stream the women’s gymnastics? I saw the award ceremony (we won, yay!) but now I wanna see the girls be great. Any sites for this kinds stuff? The ones that I found we only for live feeds..

If you have comcast, you can watch from there or you can go on demand…A couple of the girls should have had perfect scores, but it was awesome!! Now I have to wait a few more days to watch the individual all around…hope they can do it again…Shocked Russia won silver after what I saw lastnight!!

unless NBC is paying you not to et the news out I really don’t consider it a spoiler. The freaking radio and most tv stations including NBC are letting out the word. You would actually have to sit in your house with no electronics to miss the results.
