Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Sandra deserved it! woot! would’ve been better if it was Parvati but I’ll take Sandra! a more deservign player than Natalie btw.
The only thing that ruined a great finale was stupid SPRINT. Giving Troll 100K was all he needs to claim America loves him and he is the greatest – Thx Sprint. LOVED the award for dumbest move ever in Survivor – awesome nominees and tough choices.
Boo! Sandra beats Russell AND Parviti? Lame.
Russell said repeatedly he “doesn’t bother with” what the jury thinks. Which means he doesn’t even UNDERSTAND the game, since social play is a huge part of it. And I would say the final three twice…and ZERO votes, might make him the WORST player of all time.
@cattyfan – agreed. 2x in the final 3 and no votes = worst player of all time.
I don’t mind a Sandra win at all, she definitely managed to stay in there. But since the jury members couldn’t watch the season, they didn’t realize just how strong Parvati’s strategy was, and really, she should have won the season.
I really hope this puts an end to the Russelization of Survivor, but according to Probst’s bullshit “concensus” I guess not. Look for an even bigger asshole to hog even more of the camera time next season.
I would have far preferred that Parvarti or even Russell won out over Sandra (in that order).
I think that Russell was an a******, and Sandra’s comments were hilarious, but what exactly did Sandra do besides making snarky comments?
Nothing.
To me, “Not doing anything and switching sides alot to avoid getting eliminated” is hardly being a good player… probably far worse playing than Russell’s constant use of hidden immunity idols (although I dare not say that around here).
This is the second time I’ve watched Survivor, and it’s my last. Watching a show where the last two winners won completely by attrition is hardly exciting viewing.
Jimbob…staying in the game, and not making enemies is a valid strategy. Sandra was targeted several times, and managed to redirect people’s attention every time. She’s just far more subtle than The Truffle Pig. She deserved her win…although Parvarti would also be deserving.
Russell, however, hasn’t earned anything…except another stint in jail. And he’ll have to use that $100,000 for attorney’s fees, and to pay the civil suit for the woman he battered and assaulted. Idiot.
“Getting lucky that someone smarter had an immunity idol and played it on you” is hardly “redirecting attention”…
Sandra did nothing. At all. If Russell did the same amount of nothing, he would have been castrated.
Parvarti should have won, plain and simple. Sandra got dragged to the final kicking and screaming, and somehow the most useless person won.
The immunity idol Parvarti gave Sandra meant nothing…as the votes that night were for Jerri. It certainly was not the only time Sandra was on the chopping block. You might not like her, but Sandra is an excellent player.
Not to mention Sandra’s attempts to get the Heros moving in the right direction (i.e., boot Russell). That right there is what won her the game, which is pretty damn strategic, thinking ahead like that. And you know she was. That’s why I don’t mind her winning. I just think Parvati’s amazingly hot, so I’m biased. Besides, Sandra’s hubby could kick the shit out of me sideways.
I thought Parvati really deserved to win, but Sandra played well and I’m happy for her. I think Parvati perfected all three aspects of the game, though. She played a good social game, made strong strategic moves and dominated physically.

Wait a sec – Sandra was completely instrumental in orchestrating Russell getting rid of Coach. She totally played Russell like a fiddle – she deserves props for that – don’t say that she didn’t do anything, because she certainly did.
You are all missing something very important in terms of strategy. Think of the phrase, “my enemy’s enemy is my enemy”. Sandra clearly distanced herself from Russell. While the Heroes were being voted out, Sandra turns out to have been on their side! So who are they going to vote for? Parvati? She was clearly against them. Russell? Please! And then there’s Sandra, sitting there, having tried to tell them that Russell was the mastermind of the Villains at the merge, repeatedly voting against him.
I think it was actually great strategy and game play to recognize who the most hated person on the majority was and then to stay close enough to them to not be voted off yet to distance yourself enough to be seen as an ally to those who were voted off.
Personally I would’ve given her my vote as soon as she burned Russell’s hat.
Russell going to the end against two winners, who have convinced the jury to see their way in previous seasons, and have the social skills to massage the jury’s massive egos, is the epitome of stupid. In Samoa, Russell didn’t, or chose not to, realize that Shambo and Jaison were exponentially more hated than Natalie or Mick and should have gone to the end with them. This season, Russell took the same strategy that works to get to the end, but doesn’t work to get the jury to vote for him. Russell may outlast and outplay, but he certainly doesn’t outwit, which was what Nat last season had over him in spades, and clearly Parvati and Sandra had over him this season. Like in any sporting event, one must play in all phases of the game or you will lose. Russell lost, he is bitter, and I’m glad. Very glad.
Personally, I thought that Rupert nailed down the essence of Russell’s game in his final TC speech. It’s really easy to be cutthroat, act a jerk, vote everyone else out, and make it to the end. The hard part of the game is voting everyone else out, AND maintaining a relationship with them so that they will vote for you in the end. Boston Rob basically said the same thing during the reunion, when he said that Russell doesn’t play to win. He simply does not understand the concept of the game.
I think Russell’s main purpose on both seasons was just to go in and spoil the fun for everyone else. Seriously, life must have been miserable with him around.
LOL @ Itchy. I loved that comment.
Hitler could win against Russell.
Too far.
No way, Russel is a new breed of player. How stupid are people to only figure out the immunity idol scenarios after 19 seasons, Russel comes along and blows everyone away! Parvati is cunning and played Russel into her hands a few times, but SANDRA DID NOTHING!!!! NOTHING, I feel like I am taking crazy pills:) My vote was Russel Parvati a close second and then Jerri. Sandra is crass, rude, the world owes her everything but it get’s called wearing your heart on your sleeve. Russel PLAYS the game (a little emotional intelligence will help you distinguish between reality and fiction here) and walks away beaten by a jury that is way behind him. The Jury is all about saving face for what the public will think of them when they see them in the street. This game has a flaw and Russel has found it, making Survivor predictable and boring!
