Suzanne Somers aka Chrissy Snow and Joyce DeWitt (Janet) of Three’s Company hadn’t spoken in three decades over Suzanne asking for more money and being fired. Suzanne told Access Hollywood“I was fired for [asking] to be paid what they paid the men and everybody turned on me.”

Anyway…the reunion came about when a producer on Suzanne’s web show asked Joyce to make an appearance, and Suzanne resisted. Suzanne told Billy Bush, “Yeah, it was a problem…[Then] I thought, you know, everybody’s gone from that show. John [Ritter] is dead, Norman [Fell] is dead, Audra [Lindley] is dead, the producers are all dead…It’s just me and Joyce, and we shared a moment in time that will never be again.”

So…she had her on, and they had an emotional reunion. She said, “She comes out and it was so emotional…Here I’m looking at someone who I spent such a moment in time with and I hadn’t seen her for 30 years and she looks great – you should watch!”

Here’s a link to Suzanne’s web show.

It’s so funny to think that people could go over 30 years without talking over money. Sounds so ridiculous, but it happens every second of the day. But come on, dorky Janet from the flower shop???

Side note: When I was a kid, my friends and I would always play Three’s Company and I’d always get stuck playing Janet, and I HATED IT! So…yeah…that’s it. Moral of the story, call dibs on Chrissy, Terri, or ever Helen Roper before anyone else does.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I hated this show. The worst part about this show is it always seemed to be on television. Every fucking time I’d turn on the tv, one or another rerun would be on, sometimes on three channels at the same time. It was as if they’d made thousands of episodes. Except every single episode revolved around exactly the same joke. It was a real-life Scooby-doo.

I’m glad they reunited. I was sad when even the death of John Ritter (who I still love with a never ending passion to this day), didn’t get them to reunite and let bygones be bygones. Especially since the fight was over money.

Your story of getting stuck being Janet reminds me of playing Charlie’s Angels. There was always someone who got the short end of the stick and had to be Sabrina. It was never me, because I was the oldest and bossiest, so I was always Jill of course. :)

I watch Charlie’s Angels now and my god, Kate Jackson was stunning. Makes me wonder why Sabrina was always the last choice. Kids are funny.

At least they didn’t make you play Larry.
