TBS just canceled Lopez Tonight. Sucks for George who gave up his time slot for Conan and just got canned. TBS released this statement, “TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. Thursday will be the final episode of the show. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.”

I can’t say I’ll miss the show! I don’t think I’ve watched one full episode and honestly, I never planned on it.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I would say it was sad but then I remember what he did to his wife. My sympathy is limited. I saw one interview he did (Maggie Q talking about Nikita) and I thought it was awful because he kept talking over her. I never really found him funny to begin with.

I was going to make a joke about Conan stealing his time slot and I read that that actually happened! Ha! So now George is going to make some Team Lopez shirts, grow a beard, and tour the country doing standup for a third rate documentary. It’s been written.

The Lopez supporters, the Conan fans, and pretty much anybody else that has a late-night horse in the race are all claiming that their guy has better ratings and everybody else is sucking it. And they can all produce ratings numbers. It doesn’t seem like they can ALL be right…

Meh. I used to be a fan until I found out what a racist douche he really is. I didn’t even know he had a late-night show and wouldn’t have watched it if I did.

Oh, and if his kidney fails, tell him to look up Karma in his Funk & Wagnell.

Yeah, and he’ll call his act “The Taco Tour of Violent Spicy Coco Revenge But Nothin’ Personal” tour…

I’m in the minority but I thought it was a pretty funny show. His skits are much better than Conan’s.
