So glad my new obsession Breaking Bad got so much Emmy love. The only bad part is Aaron Paul going up against Giancarlo Esposito.
Sherlock!!! so good!
Only 3 shows that I watch.
Yes, but since there seems to only be about 3 shows nominated, it all seems to equal out.
Really? In the Supporting Actor (Comedy) category, 4 of the 6 noms are from the same show? There are no funny men anywhere else on TV.
I never understand how they choose the nominees that they choose. So many good shows that get completely snubbed, year after year.
My predictions/faves:
1. Girls
2. Amy Poehler (please!)
3. Louis C.K.
4. Ed O’Neill (his character grew a lot this season)
5. Game of Thrones
6. Elisabeth Moss
7. Bryan Cranston
8. Maggie Smith
9. Peter Dinklage (Tyrion saved Kings Landing! Giancarlo Esposito for 2nd.)
10. American Horror Story
11. Emma Thompson
12. Kevin Costner (although it should be Idris Elba)
Also..was Missing a miniseries? I thought it was a show that got canceled midseason. Was the crime (her missing son) ever solved? Also, American Horror Story as a miniseries? Sure, it was shorter than a full network season, but since it comes on next season…? I guess the loophole is that the characters will be completely different next season, so technically, it’s a different miniseries..
There is so much legitimately good television completely unrepresented on this list, and a lot of really dull television occupying some of the prime spots. I don’t think I’ll ever understand this process.
sarcasatire: I was scratching my head at the whole mini series thing too. I wouldn’t have thought either of those shows could be categorized as a mini series.
Also, Mmmmmmm…..Idris…..
Once again Fringe is shafted. At least Cat is up. I haven’t seen 90% of these shows and haven’t even heard of 25% of them.

Got to go with Ty Burell from Modern Family. He leaves me in stitches EVERY episode.
