Internet Forum: A Website that provides an on-line exchange of information between people about a large variety of topics and can be entirely anonymous, requiring registration with a username and password.

Yes, the TVgasm Forums have returned! We owe our thanks to TPTB, our Headmaster Flipit and of course, the Spaminator herself, Cherie for making it all possible. These NEW forums are now more stable, have better”spam-guard” and a complete back-up system in place so we won’t lose any data or threads like before. This also means that EVERYTHING is NEW. TVgasm members, old and new will have to re-register. This will only take a minute, but it’s worth the time. It’s a safety measure that helps to insure that those asshole spammers aren’t getting in again.

    I am giddy too! Our TVGasm Tribe kicked some serious ass last season. We came in 21 out of 240.. We are gonna have so much fun beating our own record.

    @Robin Since it’s run on vbulletin, I think it’ll let you fix it to just send a verification email. Without you having to do anything. Since you’ve got 2 questions that the programs can’t answer like they do capchas it shouldn’t make the spam too bad.

    BUT another thing you should know. There are also now actual human people that work for like 30 cents a 10 hr day signing up on forums to post spam. So you might end up having to look at them anyway.

    Just checked. There is no application process… Try again. If you have more trouble we will figure it out long before they start feeding them the minute they land on ‘Moan. Gosh, I am going to have so much fun with that name. ;)

    No, not a Mod.

    But every season they ask 14,972 questions to start a Fantasy Survivor Tribe. I wasn’t sure if I had mistakenly clicked something that was new this season and it caused folks to have to wait for something that usually goes right through.

    As for waiting for an administrator, I didn’t need to after all. I went back and was able to log in.

    I am talking about Fantasy Survivor, not the forum. I don’t know shit from shinola when it comes to the forums.

    I posted the FS link and assumed thats what we were talking about. Oh well, no harm, no foul :-)

    We all have to wait for Cherie to approve us. That’s what it is. I knew that, but when you guys said you could log in, I “followed the leader” so to speak. I can wait. Sorry Robin, I figured you were talking FS after that last post referring to the new season.

    Oh wait. Something called fantasy survivor’s got to be about the 50 Shades of Grey craze! Which I didn’t actually read. Since I thought the excerpts were kind of squicky.

    (Which is SO Not a judgment. I don’t like shrimp either. Or liver. Even if it’s paté de foie gras on a fancy plate)

    That’s what I’m going to imagine it is anyway.

    Before I attempt to log in to the forums I have a question that I hope Chooch, Cherie, Flipit, anyone can answer: I’ve been wanting to change my Gasm username forever and am not sure how to do it. Should I just set up a whole new account or what?

    @RTVfan, I just logged in and looked at my account, it says “usernames can not be changed”. So you would have to make a whole new account for yourself. Oh, the possibilities!! LOL!

    Aha! I did it…didn’t have to change my user name, just changed my nickname and set it to display as that. So now I am MissKris, the artist formerly known as RTVFan. :)

    @Chooch, I found WHERE but there is some statement that is “checked” that you can’t uncheck. However, it will let me put a picture on my membership page, but no thank you.

    I was also able to put a pic on my profile page but since it is a pic of my furbaby it is misleading because she is cuter than me.

    I have tried every wich way to get that little dot unchecked to allow for an avatar..left click, right click, double right click, put on red shoes and clicked my heels..nothing.

    Another Shameless Plug!

    It’s that time again!

    We kicked more than 200 other tribes off of the island last season. We were in the top of the leaderboard and we didn’t even have to get naked for chocolate and peanut butter!

    Looking forward to the new show and the season. Hopefully we will kick some ass. But if we don’t, we will still have fun and that’s what is important. And I am sure if anyone wants to get naked for peanut butter and chocolate, nobody will mind.

    @smarlo, I think we need to clear some things up. You are NOT suppose to need a confirmation e-mail. Go back and log in again and then try and post something, maybe introduce yourself in that thread. IF you can’t then e-mail Flipit at flipit75@gmail.com and he will fix it.

    Also, the problem with the avatars has been fixed, thanks to our darling Flipit also. He is a true leader here at TVgasm. We couldn’t function without him. We ALL need to quit taking him for granted, damn it. I want to see more of you watching his BS videos and and commenting and letting him know that the hard work that he does for us is appreshed! I want some LOVE sent to him and I want it sent in every way possible! At the end of every comment you make, in every recap, put an “I LOVE FLIPIT!” Do you hear me GASMII!

    HAHAh chooch!! you guys there are so many freaking buttons to push in the back end i feel like a damn monkey!! and let’s be honest cherie does most of the work back there so hug her. as far as conf emails, yes there is some weird setting that i have to manually approve everyone, so there is a bit of a lag between sign up and posting. i am going in there twice a day and approving, so if you still aren’t approved email me and we’ll try again!! there are a shit ton of spammers signing up. is that a good job? and how do i get it? love yas
