The Hoffs can’t compete with other Hollywood reality families…they only brought in 718,000 viewers, and only 505,000 viewers for the second half-hour episode. Not so good for a drunk dad…but if you think about it, no one really cares about The Hoff. He was the first to go on DWTS, and now these numbers proved that he’s not a relevant as he thinks he is. I’m sure The Hoff will do great internationally, where David reigns as King…but in the U.S…not so much.

The fact is that we’ve seen it all, and heard it all before. There’s nothing raw, or real about these celebrity family reality shows. They’re beated out, seem fake, and no one cares. The reason Jersey Shore, and the Housewives all do so well is because the casts are all indigenous to the area in which they’re shooting…and they’re real for the most part.

As for the Kardashians—they’re intriguing because they’re ridiculous, hot, shallow, and a little dumb.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Cancelled! Although, I loved that clip I saw of him on The Soup where he is lecturing at a college and they ask him to talk to his 8-yr old self as an adult and the Hoff tells his inner child that he will “grow up and drink too much.” Atleast he was honest. Although he never mentions his newfound love of cheeseburgers. Oh weel, I guess they can always show in Germany.
