The Housewives Aren’t Welcome On DWTS

The Huffington Post is reporting that DWTS doesn’t want any Housewives on their show. The Huff Post reported, “They have no interest in having any of the ladies on the show…Season after season the housewives pitch themselves to grace the dance floor and season after season the show says thanks but no thanks.”

If this article is at all true, I can’t believe they’d have The Situation, and snowboarder Louie Vito on, but won’t have on Bethenny or Teresa Giudice…kind of insane, don’t you think? The Housewives are a huge franchise and the women are a hell of a lot bigger than the other reality stars DWTS has on. If I were one of the Housewives, I’d be pissed!

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

    I would be upset to … the had SteveO on there for goodness sake.. I like him and he has come through a LOT to be where he is today. His fan base I am sure is just fine, but the demographics of a Housewife!? You know they would bring more veiwers than half of the ‘stars’ they will have this season.

    Oh, and beyond Bethenny, who has broke through the HW ceiling, Lisa Vanderplump, Kandi Burruss, and Carolynn Manzo are pretty high on the food chain of housewives. Secret—Tell me you would not be rivited to your television screen to see Simon McCord on that dance floor.

    Bethenny was on Skating with the Stars, aren’t they the same people that do DWTS? IDK if it would make me tune in more if a housewife was on there. Maybe if it was someone I really liked and rooted for. And right now, umm yeah I got nothing!

    If true, I applaud the decision. I’d rather none of the people whose sole claim to fame is “attention whore” (Jersey Shore, Housewives, Bachelor/ette, etc.) ever be asked to appear.

    IDK I kind of like the idea of some self important whiner like Jill Zarin being told NO! by a TV network!! Those beyotches can’t always have their way.

    If ABC was smart they would get the housewives and/or their spouses on another one of their shows.

    Funny Sheesh. Tell me this. How long will it take Andy Whore Cohen to make his own Dancing with the Housewives/Morons and put it on Bravo /Friday nights?
