The Insider has officially changed it’s name to Omg! Insider due to it’s partnership with Yahoo. Starting January of 2013 the name change will take effect to become a “a multiplatform entertainment news series.” The Insider hosts Kevin Frazer and Brooke Anderson will continue to host the show in addition to new Yahoo hosts Kristen Aldridge and Michael Yo. I never watch The Insider, but the few times I’ve watched it I always laugh because they treat entertainment like it’s hard hitting news. They’re almost a spoof of themselves. I can only see this partnership helping the show because of the digital component. S to that I say, “Omg! Name change. yay.”

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

That is about the STUPIDEST title for a TV show I have ever heard of in my entire 27 years. I think every English teacher in the USA is going to punch Yahoo!/Said network it is already on, in the balls for setting English back another 5 years with the title. My English may not be as great as it used to be but come on! OMG? Why not name it something like, “I am too lazy to come up with a better title to market our partnership with Yahoo! and wanted to get better ratings in the 18+ viewers, so I decided to relate to them and now I am failing miserably!”

Thank goodness I got out of watching those shows and stick to perezhilton.com and you, Nads, on TVgasm because I would lose the little brain cells I have left over from watching all that reality TV on watching, “The Insider”.

I don’t know. I think my “stupid” quota got filled when the Syfy network came into being. This barely registers now.

    OMG! That’s an awful name!

and yes Jimbob….Syfy? what the hell is that all about? Tru TV also.
Next think you know there will be a channel called “@” or “#” because that seems to be newest rage these days.

Don’t know what this show is. Probably because I have a job, and a penis.

@Jason — well, at least your job doesn’t cut into your trolling time, so you’ve got that to be thankful for.

I take great offense to the name OMG! insider. I presume it means Oh My God! Insider. The reason why is I am a Christian and don’t take the name of God I worship as common as doing everyday things. I liked the name Insider and the show was ok but when they chnaged the name I never would watch it now out of protest of taking God in a common setting and not holding him up to the highest phrase. It is insulting to my religion and intelligence.
