God, where do I start? Last night’s reunion was just Part 2 of Andy having no control, Ramona being insane, Jill trying to prove how much she’s changed, and a bunch of nonsense (or least that’s what it sounded like).
Here are my quick thoughts:
Ramona “I don’t have a drinking problem” Singer - I can not get over how insane Ramona is! All she does is attack, attack, attack. Last week, she attacked LuAnn’s daughter, and this week she outed Jill for going to AA. Jill defense was that she went to AA with a friend…who knows if it’s true or not…either way, Ramona shouldn’t have gone there. On the other hand, Jill probably shouldn’t have either…
I love Ramona’s take on Pinot Grigio: “I have been drinking Pinot Grigio since the day the show started, and maybe some people this year have a little problem because this season I have ‘Ramona Pinot Grigio,’ but I embrace all my products.” The big kicker was her shouting out that she’s sold 60,000 bottles of her “Ramona Pinot Grigio in one month.” Wow! She should take her product to The Shark Tank!
Last point about Ramona’s drinking…I loved how she said she only drinks with meals and tried to explain that she doesn’t drink hard liquor and only drinks wine—therefore, she can’t be an alcoholic and run “her empire.” She said it herself, “I never drink without food, are you crazy?”
I’m glad Ramona admitted she was wrong about the “deformed” comment. Her apologizing doesn’t make her buggy eyes go in anymore, but at least she apologized.
Jill – She’s obnoxious as ever, and will never change. She said it best herself–to know her is to love her or hate her… Sadly, as much as he bugs me, I still like her WAY better than Ramona.
Kelly – she obviously had a meal before shooting started because she actually had valid points and some great one-liners. Kelly on the cast: Alex has terrible style and is a bad actress (check), Ramona is pickled in Pinot (check), and Sonja spends beyond her means and lives in an outdated apartment (check).
I love how Kelly called out Alex on her “modeling and acting” career. It’s all so ridic.
Alex - She’s a deer in headlights, and the brunettes are semi trucks that run over her with good reason. I know a lot of you guys like her, but I could really do without her. Although she is fun to make fun of…
Let’s not forget what we just found out tonight: Alex used to go to the Hamptons strictly for film festivals…so being in the Hamptons is work to her. I’m so glad that she was able to tell us that she’s now able to appreciate it for what it is. By “now” I’m talking about her POST acting career. Alex, an actor? She’s not in my Netflix cue, but then again, I didn’t realize there was a category for Frankenporn.
LuAnn- Did she really just say Bethenny just caught up and is still catching up? She’s in denial about how much Bethenny’s worth financially . I hope Bethenny’s watching this somewhere, counting her money and thinking “Thank God, I’m out!” P.S. Who am I kidding? She’s not watching, she’s TOO busy counting her money.
Sonja - She was Ramona’s team captain tonight. She was merely an ornament during Part 2. Again, that woman can’t be real.
Cindy – Cindy who?
If you like it, spread it!:

I think these ladies should be put out to pasture. We can no longer believe that they want to be in the same social settings together. I felt as if I was going in circles all night.
But what bothered me most is while the ladies fight with Ramona they fight with Alex as if she is beneath them. Which causes her to want to get into every argument.
Jill Zarin is an awful person.
Luann: Bethanny is catching up. Catching up to what exactly, she’s married, with a new baby, and her OWN show, and 120 million in the bank. What exactly is she catching up to Lulu?
That being said I would still like to scrap all these women and start with new ones. Let’s keep Sonja though. She’s entertaining and she brings hot men on the show.
Nads, agree with EVERYTHING you said. Can’t stand Ramona and Alex the most, but agree with most that think we should chuck all of these women and start over. But I do think what irritated me the most was Lulu’s dumbass statement about B still catching up. REALLY Lu?!?! I think Bethanny has probably surpassed you, and she actually worked for her money. Errrr! Between this show and the Bad Girls Club, I am surprised I had enough brain cells left to get up and ready for work this morning.
Now, in Lumanns defense, Bethenney has yet to marry an ugly crusty old man who’s prune peen she has to suck on a daily basis to get a lame title and a little money. That’s probably what she meant by “catching up”.
For just one moment in any of these franchises I would like to see a “REAL” woman! Not one trying to sell me something or bitch about someone. Now I’m going to be honest, at first I liked the cat fights, now I just feel like reaching for the xanax.I feel stressed out when I watch.I’m going to pull a “Zarin” now and say “I’m done with the RHWONY!” If they recast I might come back, but I foresee the same old shit for next season too.. Also Andy Cohen, grow a pair and ask the questions the viewers really want answered!!!!
I haven’t watched this yet, I dvr’d it. I’ll probably watch tonight so I can fast forward when the cross yelling becomes too much.
I did have to make a comment, though. No offense, @classy drunk, but it makes my skin itch every time says Bethanny has 120 mil. She doesn’t, I guarantee it. Girlfriend made out great, I’m sure, but the spirits company didn’t write a check with a bunch of zeros. That 120 million would include payments to her other partner, investors (if there are any), paying off vendors, and existing inventory as well as stock and salary options for Bethanny. She probably got something in the 8-15 million range in cash, if that. But again, kudos to her. She worked hard for it.
None taken. I work in finance so I know where the money goes, but when they cut her check it was for $120 million. Luann has never seen money like that was the point.
Kdog — OMG I think these ladies irritated me more than the BGC girls because at least those girls are in their 20s these wummin are in their 40′s and 50′s acting like this. It’s gross.
Totally agreed @LeighPfeffer!! Wish to god that Andy Cohen would finally grow some balls and ask the hard questions — or at the very least make the ladies own up to their hypocrisies i.e. show a tape of the very behavior that they are denying. That and that alone is what frustrates the hell out of me. If the housewives (0f any franchise) knew that the reunion would actually hold them accountable the overtalking would stop and we would get a tad more reality out of reality tv.
Saw it this morning and fastforward thru a lot of screaming (and commercials and flashbacks) but it was hard to avoid. The second half seems Miss Andy told the girls when he said “Moving on” they were to shut the F up. When he did this they all stopped. I hope he does get rid of the lot. But keeping Sonya??? Where will they film her when she sells her house. I can see her having a dinner party at a soup kitchen with all her new “friends”.
I was one that liked Alex at the begining and favored her during conficts (maybe because she was the weakest in fights), but after she said nothing to Ramona when she went after LuAnn’s daughter, she either has no moral ground, a backbone, or can not voice an opinion without fear of retribution from the blonds. At least LuAnn called Jill out with some of her bad comments.
And Ramona, half the yelling came from her. She is a bully and fights dirty. Commenting about AA and LuAnn’s daughter shows how low she will hit. I don’t think she apologized for anything she said or did. And drinking montage was great.
These shows have turned into one big informercial.
@ohralphie: I used to think that, too. Aside from loathing his guts and liver, I always hated the fact that Miss Andy hasn’t got the testicular fortitude to control these beasts, or really even begin to moderate these reunions. But last night, it was clear NO ONE could. Chuck Norris couldn’t moderate these women, and he’s CHUCK EFFING NORRIS. The only way to shut them up would be to knock them the fuck out, and, if anything, that would be even less interesting than they are when they’re awake and yapping.
Was there even any point to last night? I mean, do any of you think that groupshriek session served any purpose at all? The Housewives won’t own anything they do. They won’t answer for their behavior, or admit that they did any of the heinous stuff that’s on tape.
Example: Milly Menopause from Moline, IL “Jill, you said you changed. You didn’t.” Jill Z: “I know who I am. I’m Jill Zarin. That’s who I am.” Thanks, Jill. That was enlightening. Why don’t you gobble some more rich old guy penis. Or have the maid do it while you ponder whether that latest batch of Spanx is still capable of holding back the surging tide of your ass.
They shout over each other so much that, even if you tune in the catfights, you can’t tell who’s winning or what they’re saying. Nothing is resolved, you just get dragged back into stupid shit you’ve already seen, like everything that happened after we first heard the word “Moracco”. I HATE Moracco now, and, as a product of America’s public school system, I don’t even know where Moracco IS. (But now I know that it’s poor, dirty, and the kind of place where your suitcases full of coke and prescription drugs aren’t safe.)
@classydrunk: Agreed. It’s clear that they hate each other, and it’s been clear for so long that it’s now impossible for a viewer to suspend his/her disbelief that they’d be in the same place at the same time if it wasn’t all set up.
Here’s my take:
They agree to “act” out storylines cooked up by the producers and supply their own “dialogue”. They then attempt to “cut one another” during their talking head snippets which only ramps up the tension because it is this segment that throws them for a loop. They know what is happening during the filming, what they don’t know until long after is what is being said when that segment airs.
So much “fun” while the filming is taking place: so much mutual “hate” when they are filmed alone commenting on one another.
The scenes are contrived; the dialogue improvised to go along with the scene. But the talking head segments are theirs and theirs alone to defend or explain and it is from that piece that produces the “drama” as their individual hypocrisy gushes forth.
One example: the Jill and Alex “burning” in the backyard in order to establish a “new start”. Each talking head segment delivered by each one indicated that “it ain’t going to happen”.
I can’t stand any of the brunettes. There all heinous but the way they ganged up on Alex just disgusted me. Especially Kelly. They need to take the gloves off and flatten that condescending stupid bitch. She’s a moron that got a little better this season but she’s still a crazy moron. If I were Alex I would have said ” Andy, you know what this is? This is systematic bullying. I feel the need to do a PSA on YouTube.”.
The funny thing is Alex is not even one I liked but this season I feel for her. She is a good mom, wife, and a good friend if she likes you. I also wish Simon never did that song so her comeback when LuAnn and Kelly were making fun of her modeling and acting could have been “well, darling, we can’t all sing.” snicker snicker!
Ugh… Meant to say they’re
I think the cast could lose one from each “side” — Cindy from the brunettes could leave without consequence and if Ramona were removed the entire dynamic would change. Alex would lose her false bravado without Ramona to cower behind, LuAnn would not be attacked for all the wrong reasons and Jill, Sonya and Kelly would be held more accountable for their actions. Alex makes me the most insane – she is the least genuine NY housewife and then she goes into creepy panting dog mode when backed into a corner. But her faces are priceless. So keep Alex for entertainment, and add a completely different personality type. I’d love to see Kelly Cutrone on the show. There would be so much less silly nonsense.
Classy Drunk I admire you for summarizing it best
Jill Zarin is an awful person
Ugh! Vile!! Vile, horrible women! They are all pretty awful, but I really can’t stand the brunettes far worse than the blondes. Ramona simply has no filter- she needs to think before she speaks. I don’t know if she means to be as mean as the things that come out of her mouth. And the vast majority of things come out after she has been jumped on. Jill is still vile and hateful and just plain MEAN! If I were ever to run into her in NYC, altho I would want to tell her how terrible she is, I wouldn’t want to validate her “bravo-lebrity” status by acknowledging I knew her. Kelly is still crazy! Why will no one acknowledge that?! It baffles me the things she says and the way she handles arguments! If that is the voice of reason, then we truly have no hope! Lu-MAN is also awful, and you can completely tell Jill has sent her to do most of the dirty work this year. This make Lu-Man more relevant, and can make Jill look better (epic fail on that last one!) Alex frustrates me because I constantly want her to tell those ladies STFU! I actually like her a bit, but girl needs some seriously better debate skills. And Cindy who? In most of the camera shots of the brunette’s couch they only showed the 3! Did anyone else notice that! Hilarious!
Too bad Harry Potter slayed Volderfuckingmort. He could’ve kept these bitches in line by threatening to put lightening bolts on their foreheads. Of course, Cindy would’ve just vajazzled them with Swavorski crystals.
You know how I know Mario isn’t boinking Ramona anymore? I’ve seen Ramona.
@Nads..agree with everything you said.
Ramona is the worst. She has to hit below the belt each and every time but then she’s a victim when someone says Mario might be cheating. She’s a liar if she says it’s never crossed her mind. Remember 1st season when he was chatting up a young filly and she went up to the girl and said, “He’s married.” The girl pointed out that mario wasn’t wearing a ring and Ramona freaked out because she didn’t know he went around without it. Yep, a whole lotta trust there, Ramona!
I don’t know why…I just can’t behind Alex. She irritates me. I can’t take her any more seriously than the brunettes can. And she is so affected, I get what Kelly was saying (surprisingly) when she called Alex a bad actor. Those facial expressions, the awkward pauses, the panting laugh and over annunciation of words…she definitely thinks she is playing a role here. And she’s playing it badly. Not to say she wasn’t legitimately angry at times, but most of her scenes..even the “I’m an oil baron burning franks on a pit” scene where she purported to be so offened by the c-word was just so transparently phony. I can deal with phony..this show has plenty of those moments, but I can’t bear it it when it’s too obvious.
I have to admit, I like Luann. Her delivery of the “Herman Munster shoes” line was classic. I’m glad Kelly didn’t say it, it wouldn’t have been as funny; she lacks savoir faire.
And who wears those type of boots around a riad in the evening? Ever heard of flats? flip-flops? Alex tries way too hard..
Sonja and Cindy could’ve exited after Part 1..they were literally seat warmers this episode.
@ohralphie: It isn’t up to Andy to ‘ask the hard questions’ or be judge and jury and condemn these women for their behavior. He is a Bravo executive, not a talk show host. Their bad behavior is what got him promoted last year, why should he want it to end? Furthermore, he needs to remain diplomatic in order to not alienate his cast.
He does ask many questions that we’ve all asked ourselves, questions that highlight the ladies’ bad behavior/hypocrisies. As it is a reality show, he allows the ladies to answer how they like and to defend or deflect what they wish. This gives us, the viewer, a better sense of who these people are, especially when they try and lie to us about what we’ve just seen. I think it’s commendable that he lets their statements linger a bit before moving on; it only adds to the absurdity of what was just said. Incredible effective, he is at showing us what these ladies are about without ever really getting his hands dirty. Bravo!
Maybe Ramona has Graves disease, that would account for the eyeball bulge.
@NVMTV- love the Norris reference. Zing!
KELLY BENSIMON!!! looks like a ventriloquist with out a puppet.
Please scrap this cast!
I have to disagree with @sarcasatire — Andy Cohen may be a network executive, but he is also a talk show host. I also wondered if he was afraid of alienating the cast (god knows at least one housewife ‘deliberates’ leaving the series after each season) but let’s face it – the whores are morally and financially bankrupt. They either desperately need the Bravo paycheck (all of the OC and Atlanta casts) or they desperately need the exposure whether to sell a franchise or just themselves and their egos. Miss Andy holds all the cards now. I can only come to the conclusion that he just really sucks at asking pertinent questions and keeping the crowd under control.
Besides, I’m not the only one frustrated with his interviewing skills. There are many viewers that would absolutely love to have Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper host these reunions.
sarcasatire-And all this time I thought Andy Cohen was the host of a little talk show called Watch What Happens Live. His performance at these reunions was an insult to viewers who really are curious about what was behind all the behavior they watched last season. He rarely confronts his favorites and allows others to attack the weak. I think the women reveal themselves IN SPITE of any direction from Andy.
Ack! Harry Potter spolier alert in comment 16! I’ve managed to avoid all things HP until I can get my kids to the movie. Ugh.
Yeah, Andy’s definitely a wimp. He holds the cards as far as who gets rehired, he can ask a few tough questions. And what’s with the random people on WWHL lately?
@Sunshine, you’re spot on about the brunettes bullying Alex. That was just plain uncomfortable to watch them shoo her constantly as though she were beneath them.
Luann with her passive aggressive digs, is the worst. No, scratch that. Jill with her f bombs and screeching is the worst. But so is Ramona with her out of bounds comments. Cindy is just worthless and far too snotty.
I think they all came across badly. Sonja redeemed herself a little, but not by much.
Now that I think of it, Miss Andy is the most passive aggressive housewife out there. He gives these women just enough rope to hang themselves while he smiles and compliments their shoes. He knows what he’s doing. Unfortunately, unless he reigns in the fighting and product hawking, this franchise is going to go down the toilet fast. That is unless Sonja’s BB isn’t clogging it.

@Ohralphie, When I say that Andy Cohen isn’t a talk show host, I mean in the vein of Oprah or Dr. Phil, both who will conduct an interview with a set perspective/agenda that they want the viewer to agree with. If the guest is a controlling husband, Dr. Phil will tell the guest why his behavior is wrong and what he needs to change, and will repeatedly tell the guest he is wrong until the guest finally agrees with him and promises to change.
This isn’t what Andy Cohen sets out to do. He only means to expose the women’s character for *US* to judge. He places them in situations with people they don’t like and watches what happens. Whether they were great or awful, he only wants to bring their actions to our attention and let us decide how we feel about it. The goal of shows such as Housewives, is to show us how people really are, despite how they view themselves. But Bravo’s intent has never been to rehabilitate them. This isn’t Intervention or Celeb rehab. It’s more like Real World: Over the Hill.
@sarcasatire – I think you are giving Miss Andy a smidge too much credit. If anything redeeming comes out of the reunions Andy had nothing to do with it. He has gotten a bit better over the years, but still – I sincerely doubt there is any rhyme or reason to the questions he asks or doesn’t ask. And one doesn’t have to be Oprah to know how to phrase a follow up question.
But if that is in fact the problem – he should do everyone a favor and hire an actual interviewer or at least someone with balls of steel who isn’t afraid of Teresa Jew-Dice.
I know that I (and many, many other viewers) are *not* looking for a reunion special to become Intervention. But christ almighty there is no excuse for asking “Why would the bride lie about your phone call to her concerning her invitation to Alex? And what did you mean that Alex is not of your class?” Or how about asking Kelly why Sonjas vagina grosses her out yet Cindy making a career out of them doesn’t? I mean, my god this could go on forever. Miss Andy may be a marketing genius, but he needs to put his ego away and get a reunion host that fills the needs of the viewer.
You can ask or phrase a question any way you like, the ladies will still deflect, deflect, deflect.
I’m not sure Andy is to blame for not asking tough questions when it’s really the ladies not giving genuine answers.
Every single question you just asked, @Ohralhpie, can be answered with “I’m not perfect. I own it. What I did wasn’t right but X and I were feuding at the time. After that, I’ve been nothing but gracious. She’s the bully! Remember when she did x,y, and Z?”
Then they all speak at once and he has to change the subject to quiet them down again. This show doesn’t need a host, it needs a wrangler.
Of course, there are a ton of people, like Kathy Griffin, who would gladly host and put these ladies on the spot; berate them, tell them who was wrong and who was right, chastise them, etc..all because Kathy has no iron in the fire. She isn’t the show’s producer. It’s no issue for Kathy if her interview comes down harder on Team Blondes than the others. But then viewers who disagree with her opinion (Team Blonde fans) will be even more annoyed by such a biased perspective by a host. They’ll think Kathy was unfair and that certain Hwives (the ones they hate) got off easy. As Andy is an exec , and these ladies are all part of his cast, it’s in his best interest not to pick a side or alienate any of them. Even worse, as we see how strong opinions are based on which HW is right or wrong, a biased perspective from Andy would alienate viewers, as well. So, he must remain diplomatic and fair. He hates Alexis’ homophobic ass but he still can’t tell her to go fuck herself. Especially since RHOC just got renewed for another season.
But he can edit her to look like an ass and make sure we see just how despicable she is!
Dance, puppets, dance!
I don’t know, I was suddenly really sad after watching this horrible display of bitchiness/rudeness/bullying/egos. I don’t particularly like Alex but I think she is probably a nice person, like me, and she is out of her league trying to deal rationally with the likes of Jill, LuAnn (so awful I want to puke) and Kelly (WTF). She comes off looking weak and pathetic, and that emboldens the others’ terrible, terrible behavior. Really, what are we coming to? I watch these shows as an independent observer, but I think so many of us are starting to behave like this to get attention. Ugh, these women literally make me sick. Alex and Sonja are the only ones who stil have a heart.
Yes, yes. All true. But it would be SO much more fun to watch Kathy Griffin! That chick’s quick wit is incredible.
I have to say I see some of Ohralphie’s points but ultimately I agree with Sarcastasire. I think the collective vileness of the women is leading us to believe that Andy is a bad host but to me it seems that no one could really have controlled the women during the reunion. I actually thought Andy did a pretty good job of highlighting the absurdities of the some of the answers without belaboring the point, personally I find that to be more effective.
Kathy Griffin would be a great host. Until she realizes she’s there to listen, not talk.
also I have to admit that I too sort of like Luanne. She was kind of unabashed in her snarkiness towards Alex during the reunion and she made me laugh a few times. The herman munster shoes comment was funny and I think she kind of scoffs at Alex deservingly because Alex is absurd. I also noticed that while all of the brunettes have their flaws they seemed more willing to call eachother out on bad behavior than the blondes did (Luanne and Jill atleast). Alex seems to be so afraid of losing favor with Sonja and Ramona that she blindly supports everything they do and say and fights their battles while simultaneously finding the most absurd and nitpicky reasons to fight with the brunettes. I think Alex saw that most ppl sided with Bethenny in her fight with Jill and she thought she would be popular if she too picks a fight with Jill but it just seems contrived. Also Kelly may be batshit crazy but she was spot on with Alex’s bad acting.
Jill I didn’t mind this season. She’s still kind of a bitch but aren’t we all. I wasn’t bothered that she called Alex a fucking bitch at the wedding because at the time they were still fighting. . .do you really hold someone who was never really a friend anyway accountable for something they said about you when you were fighting? I’ll admit I probably would have said something similar. Wasn’t that the point of ‘burning the past’?
Kelly is still crazy and obnoxious at times and it annoys me that everyone seems to be glossing over the fact that she had an emotional melt down in St. John. . .I know it was last season but still I need closure. And her whole ‘im nice even though I attack and bully as much as the other women but when I do it i’m ‘protecting’ people’ routine is getting old
Cindy seems to be habitually annoyed and angry. the whole hanger fiasco is when I had to write her off.
Ramona. . .I really liked her last season but her good will has gone down the toilet this season. She just fights dirty and it’s uncomfortable to watch. I’m not excusing the brunettes because they certainly throw passive agressive attacks her way but its like slapping someone with a glove and having them smash you with a two by four to retaliate. Nothing seems to be out of bounds for her and she takes no accountability and continues to claim that because she says it to your face its ok to be an asshole.
I’m ok with Sonja. I think she’s generally good natured and tries not to attack the other women. Plus she’s silly and fun and can take a joke at her expense. I say keep her around
Alex is just shrill and shrieky and annoying.
Where’s a honey badger when you need one?
I think Ramona started to attack because these women were painting her as an alcoholic. That can effect her livlihood. It was hitting below the belt. They all drink and to say she does more than they do is bollocks. I really think the producers gave her that edit because she punched one during filming. Not smart! Yeah, Ramona is crazy but she hasn’t changed from season one. The rest were ok season one and then showed their true batshit crazy colors the next season. I also think Ramona and Luann did not like how popular Ramona got last season with her “rejuvenation” and helping Bethenney out. They wanted to show her flaws to bring her down.
I have hated Luann with a passion since season 2. She went after Alex’s kids, husband, and is a horrible person to everyone. Remember when she had B schlepp out to the Hamptons for a drink? She was mad because B was late and then just layed into her. If I remember, she left early and as B stated she likes to do that to avoid the bill. I also remember her “teaching” Victoria’s friends manners. Give me a break. That woman is so pretentious.
Jill took to Twitter after the show to claim that you can’t call people bullies when they are on a show edited to create drama. What happened to “I own it!”? She is all about labels until they are applied to her. The whole brunette couch is clueless. They watch video of themselves being bitches and then say, “When was I a bitch?” My favorite was when Jill spelled out bitch because kids may be watching, but it didn’t stop her from screaming “fucking” previously. And speaking of kids, if you aren’t supposed to attack them, then why was she so vicious concerning Alex’s kids?
Kelly is a hot mess. Nothing about her is nice, sane, or intelligent.
Cindy is an angry man with a vagina.
Sorry @ Where’s My Coffee. He may not have. That Voldy’s a slick one. You’ll just have to find out…
I won’t watch next season if it’s these same bitches just sniping and clawing at each other. We ought to go on Twitter and Facebook and write to Miss Andy and implore him to can these bimbos.
And, yes, they need an interviewer for the reunions. How ’bout Will Geiss? Is that his name? He’s the dude who was supposed to be on WWHL when Bin Laden was killed. He follows the show but isn’t invested in it like Miss Andy is.
Jill was just mad because on WWHL she was voted the biggest bully.
I don’t know why it surprises her as most people are siding with the blondes this season.
I’m for TEAM Everyone STFU! I’m going to have to check myself in to the Pasadena Recovery center to break my Bravo addiction. I hate these women. They truly act like a bunch of high school bullys.
