The Situation is suing his dad for illegally using his name and his likliness over the site: Theconfrontationsite.com. He wants his name removed from the website and is seeking unspecified damages. The fact that The Situation wants money from his dad is a joke. He clearly makes way more money than his dad, and now wants to suck him dry?? And could he not have confronted his dad behind closed doors to resolve this issue, unless they’re really estranged? They both need to get a life. Losers. Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.

@ Vallegirl, I can understand why Baby Sitch doesn’t want his likeness used in an unapproved manner. Baby Sitch, whether you like him or hate him, has created a business and image over his name and “Jersey Shore” alter ego, so it’s inappropriate use is lawsuit worthy. I would assume that he is actually estranged from his father if he chooses not to pick up the phone and deal with it over a Sunday dinner, but I get WHY Baby Sitch has to protect his name, even if it is from Daddy Sitch.
And there are ways to protect your image and brand that don’t involve the public humiliation of suing your father. I’m not saying the father is the victim, because he’s scum, but that doesn’t make Mike any less scummy for not just getting a TRO or a cease-and-desist order.
Mike was raised in a dysfunctional household, watching his dad beat his mom and tell the kids he was going to “cut her into pieces.” They are still in the midst of a divorce but something tells me Mike sided with his mom and is probably spending a few dollars on her, something the father just can’t handle.

I don’t think Mike should sue the dad but sometimes this is a procedure to put the plantiff on the defense and subsequently make then drop their lawsuit altogether. Something tells me if The Confrontation would drop his lawsuit, Mike would follow..suit.

For me, though, the only reason we know anything about this family is because the douchebag son is a reality “star.” But Mike showed plenty of horrible traits, that may or may not be a result of his crappy upbringing, but I don’t have any sympathy for him. He’s narcissistic and sexist and an overall jerk. Sucks that his father sucks, but he sucks, too.
Well…we can see his time is running out before it all fall apart.
Well, the voice of ignorance here, but I heard the curse laden spiel on The Confrontation, and I just can’t get a parent shitting on the success of their kid. I got the impression he asked for money, and Sitch said no, go on welfare like a regular person, and so Dad’s response is to try and ruin his son. I don’t think I’d wanna give that ass any cash either, esp after reading here about the domestic abuse. It’s really bad to grow up that way, but to threaten to cut her up. My lawd . . . I”m not sure what’s more shocking . . . families that behave this way, or hearing horrible stories about prejudice from small town USA that sound like they happened in the fifties.
Nads, I heart you in those pod gasms!!! They are soooo fun and funny. The last one had me crying. BION, I’ve been posting here for years, but have only recently hit the news tab. Perhaps you can post a comment in the mini caps to direct traffic to your spoiler post here (you know, in case anyone else is as clueless as me) There’s many times I’m burning to comment on something or some show, and it just depletes by the time the cap is posted.

Still say it’s all a big setup by the 2 of them to get more publicity. Especially with how unfavorable is came across in season 3 (and the last half of 2) he could use the publicity, even though it makes his dad look like an ass, which, in fairness there’s a good chance he is.
