Gracie wants to be The Next Great Baker or so it seems. “Cupcake Wednesdays” are her thing. She bakes dozens of her special decorated cupcakes and brings them in every week for the cast and crew. She says it’s her passion.

The Piano Man!

So, finally I asked Michael what it was like working on the set of  a TV show for the first time. He said he learned about patience. It’s a ‘hurry up and wait” business. He was on the set at 7am and he didn’t shoot his first scene until 3:30 in the afternoon. The heat (98 degrees that day) and being in costume all day started to deflate his balloon, but then he remembered that someday, he’d be the STAR, sitting in the air-conditioned, customized trailer, on the lot and not just the EXTRA. Patience… He learned PATIENCE! I asked him what his plans were after he graduated from college? “I’m hoping to move out to LA and continue to pursue my dream of being an actor. Acting is my life, and I want to do it forever!”

Thanks for indulging me in my nepotism. This kid’s got talent and we’ll soon be recapping a big show that he’ll be on. I’m sure of it and we’ll be able to say.. we knew him when!

    I set the dvr for the show tonight. I’m gonna play Find Michael and every time I spot him I’m eating a cookie!

    Not ashamed to admit how much I love this show and now I have more reasons to watch. I was afraid it wasnt coming back its been gone awhile. I would recommend for anyone who loves Nickelodeon. Its waaay more clever than just about anything they have put out for years. The kid who play the BFF Owen has great comedic timing
