x factor judges

Did you watch The X Factor premiere last night? I thought it was awesome! I know it’s hard to judge because it was only the first episode, but I already feel like this show is a game changer. It was so much bigger and faster than American Idol! Plus, it had Simon!! What more could you ask for? Simon looked way more enthusiastic than he has in years.

As for the other judges…

-L.A. Reid–now there’s a real judge who’s been finding talent for years

-Paula–well, she doesn’t bring anything to the table, but amazing craziness.

-Nicole Scherzinger–she makes Paula look smart.

I can’t speak much to the talent because it’s in the audition stages now, but I like that it’s open to different ages.

Long story short–season pass!

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

One beef….when the judges all give their “open mouth shocked look of approval” and stand and applaud and then go on and on in their comments about what an incredible audition someone just gave, is it really necessary to then go back down the line and “vote”?….that just seems stupid and redundant…

Honestly, while some of the “good” talent was pretty good, a lot of the “bad” talent just felt completely and utterly staged. That guy with his dick out, for example, I just can’t bring myself to believe that he was for real… or the girl who murdered the Mariah carey song, she was so bad at acting like she didn’t know she couldn’t sing, and there is NO way that ousted contestants would have a chance to “bump into” the judges in the hallways after an audition they way she did, it was just fakey fake fake’n'bake… NO LIKEY!

When will someone just find some good singers without all the bullshit and sob-stories?

    love, J-Mo :)
