WTF happened on The Bachelor last night?

(read more after the jump)

I can’t believe Douchey McDoucherson pulled a, “I changed my mind” on the after show last night. I know that people have a change of heart all the time, but not on national TV! Ouch! Poor Melissa!

I don’t care how well he was produced to cry and say sorry, he still came off like The Bachelor‘s biggest douche bag.

If ABC wants to keep the ratings going, I know who they should tap as the next Bachelorette

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I couldn’t stay away from the spoilers and was even a little forewarned…in this case, forewarned was NOT forearmed and I couldn’t agree with you more!

His choice, his life and all that but…for goodness’ sake, wait until after ATFR and let Melissa down quietly…slip Molly a note during the taping telling her to look for your call…DO NOT DUMP SOMEONE ON NATIONAL TV NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOUR INTENTIONS ARE…and if the internet rumors are to be believed, his intentions weren’t that good, anyway. BLECH!

If the spoilers are to be believed, Melissa was in on it, so I would not feel to badly for her…

I didn’t totally believe it either and thought that maybe Molly knew (not Melissa), but I just spoke to someone that worked on the show and he said it was completely real, and it the most insane thing that’s ever happened on the show. Of course there were lots of producers around, but none of the girls knew. So it turns out…still a douche.

Jason’s divorce became final in February of 2008. That means that in less than a year, he ended one marriage, joined one reality show and proposed to Deanna last year, joined another season, proposed to a second woman, broke up with her, and is planning on marrying another girl who he dumped on national TV. Very stable, very normal. If Molly takes this hot mess back, she deserves every bit of grief he gives her.

My main thought last night was “OMG would you knock it off with the crying all the time???” I feel bad for Melissa but I feel even worse for Ty if he was led to believe that Melissa was going to be his new stepmom.

Also, Brad Womack has got to be thinking he’s looking like an absolute angel at this point…

    nhcannons:I’ll find out today ;-)

wintersux:I so agree with you, his f*cking crying…OMG, does he want us to really feel sorry for him? He’s just plain gross

This guy is no better than Octomom with whoring himself out.

Ah, it was all a set up from the get-go.

Melissa’s payment for all of this is that she’s pretty much guaranteed to be the Bachelorette next go round.

The Douchebag makes out pretty well too, since he’ll get to pretend for at least a few more weeks that he’s not gay.

Not sure what Molly gets out of this. Money? Crazy eyes?

I was furious, screaming at the screen. I never liked Melissa, but to do that was just wrong. What a total douche. Eh I was just disgusted with the whole situation. I agree with Kimbubbly, and I do not believe he was ever sincere. All for TV. Hasn’t he all along been doing interviews about how he was still with the girl he proposed to and how happy he was.

Hey fellow tv fans…please be patient (and soft with the blows…I’m new). ;)
Seriously, who threw up a little at the final rose ceremony? First off I will say I haven’t seen part two (although I’m sure it was as intellectually stimulating as part one) so these are merely my thoughts on the first installment.
What is with the ‘no audience’ to protect the privacy and out of respect for those involved? If the producers had any respect for Melissa they would have scrapped the episode altogether but then we would
have missed Chris literally wet himself with glee over the thought of the ratings sweep. Jason, Jason, Jason…poor you. You have had it rough haven’t you?
First you were left by your first wife, then dumped by DeAnna (but for this post let’s just call her the attention grabbing wh*re), then you were desperately caught between two loves.
Jason, please for the love of all things sacred, grab some balls (and a tissue), go Google Darfur and grab a little perspective on what ‘problems’ actually exist here. He is hardly the first person to have had his wee heart broken yet to hear him sob and carry on for the last couple of months you’d think he was dying.
He was looking for a doormat which made me lose any respect I had for him from the last season. Me, me, me, Ty, Ty, Ty. Okay we get it! He wants someone to be there for him (IOW, cook, clean and mother both him and his precious jewel of a boy). When did he ever ask what the ladies were wanting?
I know he views himself as a catch but come on here. So, without surprise, he picks the one we know will “fit into his life”. You could just see the strain on his face over the anxiety of Molly actually having a career.
Which takes us to the post ceremony. Really, no one cares that he made a mistake. No one cares that he changed his mind. Most Bachelor(ettes) have at some point down the road. But, if he were any kind of man he would have talked this over with Melissa,
come on the show WITH her and they could have simply explained that after some time they BOTH realized they weren’t meant for each other. She could have left with her heart intact and her head held high, he could have pursued the ever-willing and far too forgiving Molly, and he wouldn’t comeout of this looking like the biggest douche bag
we have ever seen. But noooo. Jason is way too honest – so instead, he felt the Jerry Springer approach would be much more acceptable.
He irritates me. Melissa has nothing to feel embarrased over here – he is the low brow, low class moron who obviously has a few issues to work out. What is next? Will he publicly dump Molly for a second chance at DeeAnna? Good grief.
As much as I like Melissa, she is another sad sack of tears and woe. First DeeAnne, then Jason….please don’t make her the next Bachelorette. We all know that she always ends up on the wrong end of the breakup (because she’s told us at least a half dozen times) and we are all tired of the whining and pity parties already.
I would love to see Gillian back as the Bachelorette. She is positive, fun, spunky, intelligent, pretty and nice. I am rooting for the Canuck to get a second chance at love.
